One word of warning, the local neds are a menace here, frequently coming into the shop, annoying the staff and the customers. I've felt uncomfortable waiting in there on several ocassions. I usually phone my order ahead now so it is ready to pick up when I get there, so I can get in and out as quickly as possible. Real shame, given the value for money here.

Anything curry sauce based sets like a gel... Appealing right?..so I've order the "simple" curry before... And to be frank you have to dig for your beef in the set sauce... This business has been taken over by a new owner within the last year or so. Before then the food…read morewas...Less than edible and the sanitary of it could be questioned... Not to even mention the mannerisms of the employees. Is it really that hard to put chips in a bag?.. Sadly it was too much. And of course the highest luxury at the time was last nights left over chips to be sold the following day?.. Sounds appealing doesn't it? Also on the weekends also spectate the local "Chavs" standing outside making it less picturesque Now... Since new ownership the staff are very friendly, the food has been improved vastly. There's nothing outstanding about the food though... After all, it's a Chip Shop, how amazing can it really be?. If anything it's reasonably priced.
