The other staff here are very friendly and helpful and will greet you within seconds of entering the store. Well, the store is pretty small so it would be hard for them not to really, but I still appreciated it. The pharmacy offers free safe syringe disposal containers and also offers free disposal on site. It is quite a busy place and people are constantly running in and out to get prescriptions, pick up some shampoo or have a chat about various medical ailments. There is a great community feel in there and I enjoyed my visit. My only criticism is that the area of the store with hygiene products, umbrellas and little gifts was a little messy and dusty.

The variety is enormous and prices reasonable with staff that are happy to spend time with you explaining each product and what would suit you best. My favorite product right now is the Kardashian K24 primer. It looks like glitter from the outside packaging but is a gold tinted primer to go under your foundation that gives you a fabulous glow. I just love love love Mecca and I really haven't ventured into the skincare section yet, which is also very extensive. If you love your make up and like to present yourself well, you really should give Mecca a try

A disappointing and stressful way to shop…read more This is the third visit I've taken to the MOR outlet in out-of-the-way Altona North because I truly love the MOR brand. It's elegantly packaged, heavily perfumed and ticks all the boxes (Australia, Cruelty free, Doesn't give me a rash). So with the many MOR products I accidentally find myself buying - my body will be buttered for the next 50 years at this rate - why wouldn't I visit a FACTORY SALE! My first visit was amazing - the large warehouse was opened up with thousands of different products lined up neatly on wooden pallets and crates. There were plenty of products to go around and plenty of room to navigate the many other women hunting a bargain. Prices were surprising low and a few of my favourite discontinued items we there! Joy! I left with a box. Flash forward to the latest visit and the warehouse is closed, with just a small, nicely appointed shop open for trade. The shop is cute and the stock is neatly set out, but the middle of the floor holds a low pallet with more stock with a small square in which to navigate around. First problem. There are a few dozen other people cramming into this tiny space, grabbing and jostling making it a highly unpleasant experience. I'm immediately kicked by a toddler in a carry-backpack-thing, shoved by a women trying to grab the last of whatever was next to me, heaven forbid I get in her big, fat way and rudely told by some tag-along husband to "get in line", which there is no line and I am not buying anything. I stumble to the exit, get in the car and tell my husband to get me out of there. I buy nothing. I'm actually not sad about the fact I bought nothing - the prices are the same than the retail outlet in DFO, which has much more stock than this outlet seemed to. I went fairly early in the day too, so I don't think I missed the best of the bunch. So why then would I recommend this factory outlet? I wouldn't. Maybe if you lived on the street behind the outlet, walk over and take a look, but don't bother if you have to travel only to be disappointed. The prices are the same as Cosmetics Fragrance Direct at any DFO and it's a stressful experience you don't need. I won't bother going back to another MOR outlet sale ever and I can't suggest you do either.

I was looking for a Korean based cosmetic and skin care shop and heard about the face shop. I would…read moresay this has been the best retail shopping experience I've had in a long time. The place is small, and didn't cary as much stock as their website advertised. There is however, a lot to choose from. Whether you're young and looking to start a new beauty routine, this stuff has a variety of scrubs, face masks, peels, and more for a good price, or if you'r older and want the serious stuff in anti aging skin care, the price is a little higher. As it is a korean based shop a lot of the products are writen in a foreign language, however there are English descriptions so you know what you're buying. The shop assistant was friendly, spoke very good English, and was available and helpful without her breathing down your neck like some retail assistance. She didn't force me to buy stuff, and explained what would suit my skin, not pushing me to buy the expensive stuff, and generally honest. I bought some of the facial sheet masks for $2 each which I really enjoy. I bought facial scrubs $7 each, and pore control serum $25. I am very happy with my products. I also bought some make up which I can't say is anything spectacular compared to western make up you would find at price line. Their make up section was a small isle in the centre of the shop. It had bb creams, primers, foundation, cushion concealers. Most of these products come with sp+30 as Koreans take their sun protection seriously. They also had pretty nail polish, eye make up and lip gloss. After purchasing my products the lady behind the till gave me a free facial scrub worth $7, about four face masks, worth $2 and $4, and some samples of toners and soaps. that is great service. I've heard from others that they generally give you extra goodies for free, but I was still surprised she put all those free things in my bag. When my supply runs out I will certainly go back.
