I just had a baby in May and was discharged from the hospital with the most minimal breastfeeding information. I knew I really wanted to breastfeed my baby and to enjoy it with minimal stress. So I hired a lactation consultant , Mor ! She made all the difference in my breastfeeding journey. She even helped my baby out of jaundice with a feeding schedule that worked. She also helped my baby gain her birth weight back by day 9 ! Mor is very knowledgeable in her field, kind, patient, and has great bedside manner. She also was available to answer any questions I had and sent demo videos as needed. Thanks to her, my breastfeeding journey has been enjoyable and successful. read more

Mor is an absolute gem!! I hired her a bit too late with my first when I was only getting 1/2 an ounce after a pumping session. Although it was a bit of an uphill battle given I had to delay breastfeeding from the start, she managed to help me breastfeed until my baby was 6month! what a relief! Fast forward to baby #2, she has been on speed dial for me. I couldn't be more thrilled to see that amount of milk I'm pumping!! Thanks to Mor, I'll have a nice stash in the freezer soon for my moms night out. Mor understands how breasts work, she is supportive and kind, she is always there to answer all your questions and she will go out of her way to make sure you get the results you want!! Do not hesitate. Out of all lactation consultants, she is the breast of them ;) read more

I don't know how to begin thanking Mor for helping me breastfeed. It is not as easy as it looks and sometimes the baby doesn't know what to do she was so patient with me and came both to the hospital and my house to make sure I could breastfeed. She would text me to make sure I was doing OK and constantly sent me encouraging text messages (which you need a lot of when breastfeeding ). Mor is an amazing dietitian. I have worked with her over the past few months and she has really helped me in so many ways. She does appointments where she eats with you at a restaurant to help you order and eat with her. She is so knowledgeable about so many different diseases of nutrition. I have seen other people for help with nutrition and I have never had someone that really helps me reach my goals in a healthy and realistic way that is long lasting. I cannot say enough great things. Anyone looking for a dietitian I highly recommend Mor! And my insurance reimbursed me for most of the cost since she is a registered dietitian. It was a great overall experience. read more

I cannot begin to explain how truly blessed I am to have met Ms. Levy. Her wellness counseling, nutritional recommendations, and passion to achieve positive healthy results has immensely enhanced my life in more ways than I ever imagined. I was initially referred to Ms. Levy by my primary care doctor because I was having trouble losing weight and lowering my cholesterol. I had tried dieting in the past, but I could never stick to a strict regiment. Ms. Levy is different. She believes in lifestyle changes rather than what she called a "fad diet," like weight watchers or the atkins diet. And unlike everyone else who told me to just "diet and exercise", Ms. Levy went way beyond that. She inquired into exactly what I was eating on a daily basis, how much I was eating, the times I was eating, my sleep schedule, my work schedule, my daily stresses, my exercise routine, the drugs and medication I was taking, sex life, family history, etc. It was clear from the onset that Ms. Levy truly cared about my overall health. She said that althoughmy diet was pretty good, it could still be improved. She made recommendations including increasing my omega-3- fatty acid intake by eating more fish like salmon and sardines. She recommended increasing my intake of fiber by consuming more fruits and vegetables. She also suggested I eat fewer more frequent meals and to drink more water and avoid drinks with added sugar and artificial sweeteners. Ms. Levy believed in me since the beginning which is one of the reasons I believe in her. And guess what... since I began following Ms. Levy's recommendations my cholesterol is down, my blood sugar is down, my weight is down, I look better, and I feel better! Thank you so much Ms. Levy! I am forever grateful! read more

If I could give 10 stars I would! Mor is truly a gift. I hired her nearly 3 years ago when my son was 2 weeks old. After suffering through breastfeeding for the first few weeks of his life turned to clogged ducts and mastitis, Mor literally came to my house for an emergency call at 8PM and relieved me of my clog and helped coach me through a better latch. She was available to me via phone and emails for weeks answering all my continued questions as a new Mommy on this new journey. Flash forward to 2.5 years later, my husband and I were desperately trying to get pregnant again and having a really hard time for nearly a year. I reached back out to Mor for nutrition help, and she got me on a Fertility specific diet and helped with my vitamin supplements. I am so happy to say that within 2 months of adjusting my nutrition we conceived. I owe so much to Mor. She is a true professional, with such a passion and expertise in her field. I feel so lucky to have been referred to her and to be able to continue working with her for many years now. read more

Ms. Levy is a gem; she positively changed my lifestyle. Little did I know that I was a candidate with a higher than average risk of stroke or that I metabolize caffeine slowly or that I was deficient in much needed vitamins and nutrients, more specifically Vitamin D, Omega 3s and a few others. Before I met with Ms. Levy, I believed I was "healthy" and ate well; or so I thought. I've heard the story before, was approached many a time concerning eating right and keeping a balanced diet. However, Ms. Levy's approach was different. She brought up the word "preventative," and asked me if I completed a genetic test previously. "Huh? What? Why?" were my first inclinations. I have very high expectations and also believed I had somewhat of a foundation in nutrition. Although a bit skeptical, I was immediately intrigued and decided to ink her services. She reviewed my custom meal plan that my trainer developed, analyzed by gram and percentage my daily intake of various vitamins and nutrients and advised in detail what my deficiencies and surpluses were. She further provided me with information concerning the benefits and disadvantages I had given my meal plan. I'm aware my personal trainer is neither college educated nor a registered dietitian. However, I was not aware that my daily intake and/or overabundance of certain vitamins and nutrients were damaging to my health. To sum it up, she opened my eyes, absolutely educated me and changed my way of life. Her expertise in dietetics, her genuineness and her sincerity in working with me was endearing and potentially lifesaving. read more

This lady saved the day! I am a first time Mom with a newborn adamant about breastfeeding. My baby was really struggling to latch. He was upset and frustrated and so was I! It's very confusing with all of advice and opinions, with a screaming baby. Mor came over within an hour of calling her and showed me solutions that worked, and that's what matters! Results! She is so sweet and cute and understands what Mom's are going through, including the raging hormones. I am so so grateful for her services, she was worth the cost, no doubt! I am calling her the milk angel to all my friends and family because I was so on edge and stressed and now my beautiful son is getting all the milk from Mommy he wants. read more

We were so anxious about our 9mo not eating regularly and being anemic. Meeting with Mor was not only a relief from the anxiety, it re-energized us to feed our baby nutritiously and developmentally. Mor is super knowledgeable without being patronizing or disparaging. We highly recommend! read more

Mor was my doula, dietitian, and lactation consultant. I ended up getting the package for all three and I am so thankful that I did! Mor was such a support throughout the entire pregnancy. She helped me with my diet and made sure that I focused on specific foods every trimester for the optimal development of my baby! It was so cool to learn about how each trimester I needed to focus on different foods. When we got close to the due date, she would sit with my husband and I and go over everything, from labor, to after the labor, to breastfeeding... I felt so comforted and it helped with all the anxiety. Once the baby was born she was there for hours to help me breastfeed and visited me 3 times while I was in the hospital. Once the baby was born she was such an incredible support system and really helped my husband and I get through the first few weeks (that are so incredibly difficult). She is amazing. I am sooooooo lucky that I had her the whole time. I strongly recommend her to anyone! Best experience ever. read more

Mor, thank you. I found Mor while I was pregnant through Yelp and here we are two months postpartum. I was not successful at bf with my first baby and really wanted to get it right the second time around. Mor told me I was not only going to get baby to latch but also have a supply. Let me tell you, she did both! I had so many doubts and wanted to give up but she pushed me and guided me every step of the process. I could not have done this without her. Mor is patient, knowledgeable, sweet and kind. Thank you Yelp and thank you Mor. I would recommend her to everyone!!!!! read more

I connected with Mor through Facebook when I posted about breastmilk donation. My supply started decreasing a couple of weeks before work and I was looking for milk for my little one while I was at work. She asked numerous, specific questions regarding my lifestyle, diet, stressors, and baby's habits. After that, she gave me some pointers on how to maintain/increase my supply and within 48 hours, my supply went back up to normal. I can't thank her enough because if it weren't for her instructions, my supply would be nearly non-existent right now but instead I am pumping enough for feedings for my son at daycare. Thank you so much Mor!! I will definitely be contacting her again if we decide to have more children. read more

Where do I begin with praising Mor! It started with her helping me with the breastfeeding, who knew it would be so hard!? Then we had her stay a couple nights as our postpartum doula. She is a life saver!! She helped me get some rest and helped me with the night feedings, making sure I was doing it right. She encouraged me all way, helped with every little thing I could imagine. She would follow up with text messages to make sure everything is going well and was always a call away from one of my many "FTM questions". She is a life-saver!! read more

Mor is extremely knowledgeable about everything maternity! She answered any and all of my questions from nutrition information about conceiving to advice on breastfeeding. I was looking for a nutritionist to help me be healthier. I had no idea how she would completely change my life. I feel energized and so motivated, which I have never felt this revived before. She started by taking a saliva sample for this genetic test she does, and asking me questions about my history, labs, and health. It was worth every penny, and my insurance covered most of her counseling fees. I got my results, which showed that I am much more at risk for heart disease (which is what my grandfather died of at 46), it also showed me that I am much likely to have reactions to certain drugs and what vitamins I am more likely to be deficient in. I think it was over 75 different genes that she tested. It completely changed the way I eat, Mor showed me what foods I should focus on, what is better matched for my lifestyle, current labs and genetics. This is the first time in my life, I have not only made changes, but really kept them. I have more energy, I feel better, I look better, and am getting stronger. I originally was seeing Mor on a weekly basis, and now it's reduced to a monthly basis, just for upkeep. I cannot thank this woman enough. She is incredibly sweet and easy to talk to. I recommend her to everyone I know. read more

I took a introductory pregnancy class with Mor. The class was very great went over things that would be helpful for me and it was adjusted to how far along I was. Went over what is healthy eating, what to expect during the second and third trimester. My favorite part the lactation / breast feeding and how not to give up. She is great in what she does. She also kept me informed of other events that go on in the community. She is truly awesome. read more

Mor helped me with planning a safe set of meals while I was recovering from surgery and then she helped me sort through all the conflicting advice I was getting with respect to breast-feeding. She gave me her personal number and told me to contact her any time--day or night. She said, " You will never bother me." Her concern was always my health and well-being--and my baby's, and she is gracious and warm. I am so thankful our paths crossed. read more

Mor is absolutely incredible! I cannot begin to thank this woman for all the dedication and hard work she put in to helping with the breastfeeding process. She was at the hospital from the very moment my baby was out helping figure out the tricky latching process. She stayed however long it took and came back everyday i was in the hospital to make sure I was successfully breastfeeding. Not only did she come prepared with an abundance of techniques and knowledge, she also provided much needed emotional support and encouragement. She is amazing and I recommend her to everyone! read more

She is an extraordinary personal, very professional, kind, and reliable. I was referred to Ms. Levy by a friend of mine, to help me with some breastfeeding difficulties that i encountered. Unfortunately due to the use of antibiotic my baby got trash, and I got it from him through the breastfeeding. I can not even describe the pain and the discomfort we both suffered from. I went to the pediatric with my son and after a week with no improvement I reached Mor. It was the best thing I did cause she literally saved my breastfeeding! She was very patient on the phone, explained me exactly what should I do and provided me with 24/7 support!!! She texted me the following day and made sure the baby and myself are better. She was extra nice when she gave me additional nutrition tips, and encouraged me to continue with the breastfeeding. I don't have enough words to thank her!! She is the reason I still breastfeeding, and going strong!! read more

I sat down with Mor last night for a consultation and shared with her that I have been diagnosed as a pre-diabetic, days before my 26 birthday. I was also told 2 years ago that I have hypothyroidism as well as PCOS (polycystic ovarian syndrome). I didn't think that I needed help as I have worked hard to change my lifestyle the past 2 years and have now lost 80 lbs, I am more active, and I stopped eating out. Having achieved so much I was confused as to why now, after so much progress, I have become pre-diabetic. I didn't understand. Mor helped me to see that taking care of my body isn't about how much weight I lose, or how fast I do it, and just how individualized each person's daily nutrition plan can be. Mor was so knowledgeable about each of my conditions and was able to give me in depth explanations of how each of them effect my body, how I react to certain foods, and helped put together a nutrition plan that would help me become the healthiest version of myself. I am beyond grateful and I feel so much better having her by my side on this journey. read more

So I just had my daughter, not only did Mor help me with breastfeeding, but we made a special package where I was able to get both nutrition counseling for myself and daughter as well as breastfeeding help. She helped me multiple times, came to my house and made A WORLD of difference! I wasn't able to breastfeed my first, I cannot begin to explain this angel! I literally called her the breastfeeding angel. Then she helped me slowly lose my baby weight and keep my milk supply high. I have so much milk this time! It's night and day compared to my first. When my daughter turned 6 months, Mor helped me introduce food to my daughter and was beyond amazing! She was so helpful! My first is so incredibly picky, and with my second she is not picky at all with food! Mor is seriously an angel. I couldn't have survived without her. You HAVE to hire her. It should be mandatory to see her for anyone that has a baby. Amazing!!!!!!!!! read more

Mor has definitely found her calling. Going into it, I didn't know how personal working with a dietician would be. Mor has been so comforting and accepting throughout our work together. She has a wealth of information and science/research (some her very own published research) based knowledge that she uses in order to work with you to devise the best practices for your body and lifestyle. Her approach is realistic and doable. With Mor you get the gentleness of a therapist, honesty of a good friend, and the science and hard facts that you wish your doctor knew/would explain to you. I plan on working with Mor to not only lose weight but set myself up for a healthy and strong lifestyle now as well as when I am ready to get pregnant, am pregnant, and after pregnancy.I can't think of a better person to do this work than Mor and I am so excited to continue on this journey with her. I've already seen results and i've only been expected to take baby steps. read more
