The teachers are all very friendly, knowledgeable, and very attentive! My daughter is almost a year and a half old and LOVES going to school every day. The teachers document every detail of her day so we know exactly what she did, what she ate, when she napped, etc. The teachers lover her and it shows because she LOVES her teachers. The perks we fell in love with were the daily music class, the baby sign language lessons (yes, our daughter used sign language to communicate with us at a year old and still signs when she says "please" in an over-exaggerated manner, haha), the outdoor play, the gardening program, the teacher-to-student ratios, the staff, and overall cleanliness of the facililty. It's a little more expensive than a couple of the other places we visited, but for a couple extra hundred dollars per month, WELL WORTH IT in comparison. You can't even compare a standard daycare facility to this place; Artisan blew them all away. We know our daughter is in good hands and getting top-notch care. It really is more like school than daycare, which keeps our daughter stimulated and happy! As far as the review submitted by "Life B", kids get sick, it's a fact of life wherever you bring them. In my experience, the staff has been on top of everything they possibly can be on top of when illnesses are going around, so the review by "Life B" is very misleading and based on one kid getting sick, one time. The review should be deleted in my opinion as it contains no helpful information at all. Regardless of the childcare facility you choose, your kid will get sick during it's lifetime, haha, accept that. Anyway, I HIGHLY recommend this place, there is a reason they fill up and availability can be difficult to come by at times. My wife and I lucked out. A full-time slot opened up a few days before we went in for a tour and we jumped on it. My suggestion to you is, if you are considering daycare and Artisan has an available slot, take it. He was taught structure and discipline and manners while having fun with his friends! The teachers are fabulous and friendly and really have a way of making their lessons fun. All of the children feel included and loved. My daughter went to a public preschool for 1 year and it was a nightmare! She didn't learn much and the teachers couldn't be bothered to engage her. Once I placed her into WOW I saw a huge transformation in a matter of weeks. She thrived. Not placing my daughter in WOW from day one was my stupidity. I was trying to save money and it was a huge regret. You get what you pay for. This place is amazing. They do not have a large turn over because the staff is dedicated and never leave. It's refreshing. My kids often talk about WOW and like to browse through their memory books. Every child graduates every year and it's incredible. The kids feel so special and it's a nice way to acknowledge all of their accomplishments and achievements.

The way the school progresses the kids through their classroom system is brilliant, keeping each kid with their own age group and abilities. Nevan has always looked forward to each day at school and literally runs through the front door each day to whichever classroom he's been in. To go along with this our older two kids had attended a different daycare/preschool which we were very happy with at the time. Due to live changes our middle guy and youngest had to start attending a different school (Wonder Years). While we were extremely happy with our original daycare we quickly saw how much Wonder Years blew it out of the water in comparison. Wonder Years also made it extremely easy for our middle guy to transition from his original school. He quickly made new friends, which he still has to this day and enjoyed his last year of preschool there which prepared him greatly for kindergarten. Thank you Karen and staff for taking such great care of our kids. Due to the nature of work/life you spend a lot of quality time with our kids and we have a great piece of mind knowing that they are in your hands when they are not with mom and dad.

I wish I could have replied to her review directly. She's upset because her 3yo (just under) child is not only NOT potty trained....but also biting children. And she wasn't happy because she didn't feel like the staff was ignoring the other children enough and spending the vast majority of time catering to her child...she wants the school to not only potty train her child...but also teach how to read and write....as well as break the child of the habit of biting...of course her child must be taught to not bite at the expense of all the other children. As if anyone wants their child to be used strictly as a tool with the purpose of educating her child. In any event...GREAT school...awesome personnel....I can't wait to see my third child attend.

The owner was not sympathetic to the situation and didn't seem bothered that a child was upset or scared of being at her pre-school. I don't know if they still do it this way, but I found it startlingly that nap time was in a completely dark room.

I absolutely love the structure it provides the kids while exposing them to educational material in a fun and engaging way. For example, my daughter recently came home with a "gravity painting" which was paint dripping down a piece of paper. What a great idea!! The teachers are all so warm and friendly, which is such a comfort when leaving your child there all day. They always have smiles on their faces and are ready to be silly with them. On more than one occasion, my daughter has been sad because she "misses Miss Melissa" or "misses Miss Tiffany." I feel so lucky I found the School for Early Excellence!!

There is no bus service at our elementary school, so the ASC picks up our girls to bring them to the ASC after school. We have never had an issue with pick-up at the school. The program is well-organized and once arriving at the ASC, the kids have a structured program with plenty of downtime as well as homework assistance and designated time to read. There are days when I pick up my daughters and they don't want to leave because they are enjoying the activity in which they are engaged. The staff are also great - very responsive to any concerns and always professional. Every one of them seems to appreciate the kids and have been sensitive to any special requests. At one point, when my older daughter was being left out of a game and her feelings hurt, one of the directors stepped in and reminded the other kids about being inclusive. Kids are allowed to be kids, but the ASC is also great about teaching important life lessons and setting limits to help them get along and they do it in a constructive and respectful way. ASC is open for a summer program as well, and my older daughter says she doesn't want to go anywhere else for day camp. The summer program includes daily trips to the city pool, twice a week field trips that the kids love and lots of in-house fun. ASC covers school vacations as well, scheduling both fun and enriching activities for the kids. The After School Club is also a great value. Their prices are not the absolute lowest in Woburn, but they are very competitive, particularly considering all that the ASC does with and for the kids. It is definitely worth the peace of mind knowing that my girls are safe, happy and engaged in some great activities. Tuition can be paid either by check or using their online system, which is very convenient.

She also has attended the summer program. She loves all the fun activities they have planned for the weeks and the field trips too. As a mom, this place gives me peace of mind knowing she's in a safe environment and being well taken care of. The staff is always caring and kind. They do homework with them if you like. It makes things easier at home for us, getting in the door so late.
