After I had visited Moorhead's historic Dairy Queen, I looked across the parking lot and spotted…read morethis Walgreens. I needed to get some pop, so it was perfect to shop here. I parked near a Redbox kiosk outside the drugstore. It was cool seeing a DVD rental kiosk still kicking around. Had I travelled with a laptop featuring a DVD player, I would have tried it out. What sets this Walgreens apart from others that I have visited is the selection of honey. Normally, I can find traditional liquid honey at any Walgreens. This one was fancy. I saw raw and manuka varieties. I was impressed! I was here for pop. I saw a deal for where you could get three two-litre bottles of pop for $5. Nice! I briefly looked at all the Christmas merchandise. I had just crossed the Minnesota border, so I got to see a lot of Peanuts plushies and more. It was nice. It was great seeing the photo section. I'm glad that you can still get photo printouts. I got the nicest woman at the checkout. She used a plastic bag to bag each bottle of pop. It was weird to me, but I didn't mind it. I just hoped that each bag wouldn't snap when I carried it due to the weight of each bottle. I entered my phone number associated with my rewards on the touchpad. I then paid with a credit card. Done! I thanked the woman and wished her a good day. She reciprocated. I then headed to my rental vehicle and put a couple of bottles in my luggage. The third one hung out in the backseat. I liked shopping at this Walgreens. I'd return when I'm back in the area. (5)

It was the perfect opportunity for me to drop by and grab a few items before I crossed over the border to return to Winnipeg. I was at a Walgreens in Richfield. I saw a box of Dunkin' chocolates that intrigued me. I thought that I'd bring some back to the office. There was lots of parking in front of the store. It was busy on a Monday afternoon. I backed into a spot and walked in. I headed to the seasonal section. I found the Dunkin' chocolates that came in a box similar to getting donuts, but in a much smaller size. Perfect! I saw a sale on M&M's candies. I tend to get flavours that I can't get in Canada. I got a bag of caramel cold brew M&M's that I had never seen before. I also got dark chocolate. I got a friendly woman at the checkout. I entered my phone number associated with my rewards account. I then tapped my credit card. Paid! She put my goodies in plastic bag. I thanked her and left. When I got to my hotel room in Winnipeg, I had a few Dunkin' chocolates. The flavours did taste like the chain's popular donuts. I liked the cookie butter the best, with the brownie batter and holiday cake batter ones being solid, tasty options. I had the caramel cold brew M&M's when I got back to Markham. They are yummy. The caramel is chewy in each M&M, which was cool. I've had the dark chocolate M&M's before. I prefer dark chocolate over milk, which sometimes surprised folks. Yummy! I'm glad that I dropped by this Walgreens to get my chocolate fix. It's a decent store. I'd return when I'm in the area again. (495)

When it comes to their errors the pharmacists and manager apparently believe that offense is the…read morebest defense. I was given only 30 pills (half the number I needed for the month) and upon third contact with them the pharmacist Allie claimed it was all my fault for not calling back soon enough on third contact (there was only a third contact because I had offered to go home and search again). How could calling back faster have solved the problem? She claims she could have done an inventory check. When I pointed out she still could she came back and said their inventory matched their records, that I received 60 pills. That's not possible unless someone changed the inventory to compensate for their error. She claimed that their system does not show which pharmacist filled the order. Manager Taviah admitted that is not true, but didn't seem to have any concern that Allie told me that. Taviah claims she doesn't know what Allie told me - yes she does because I told her. Allie claimed if I called back earlier they could have run the insurance again to see if it would give me extra pills - no they already did that, and insurance won't give you extra pills. Allie claimed they will never give someone extra pills to make up for an error, but Taviah admitted that was also untrue. Taviah just says "I don't know why [Allie] would say that", as if Allie did not say that. I don't know either. I also didn't know why I was being blamed for their error. I asked simply that my insurance be credited for the missing 30 pills (a non-controlled substance). They refuse. Taviah claims any number of things could have happened to my pills after I left the store, such as someone going into them and removing some. When I responded that I live alone and no one else has any access to them at any point after I leave the store, that didn't change her opinion. Facts don't matter. There seems to be a culture here of thinking negatively of the customers and always trying to be right, even when they're wrong. When I ordered refills the online system also repeatedly sent me to pick up prescriptions three days later, and when I did so I often found that if the insurance declined, for whatever reason, then I made a wasted trip. Also the online account won't tell you if any prescriptions are waiting for pick-up, or let you place older prescriptions into archives. They also have business cards which don't indicate their last names, which is odd. After I started with this pharmacy my doctor told me he had problems with the way they do things and that the manager refused to make any changes, so he no longer refers patients to them.

So...this is not the Walmart to go to if you want to stroll leisurely. This is the Walmart to go to…read moreif you want to run in and grab something fast and run out. This is not a very clean Walmart. If you're catching Covid somewhere in Fargo, it'll likely be here. I say that because mask enforcement is sporadic here and staff rarely have the mask over there face properly (i.e. covering nose and mouth). Additionally, it is a heavily trafficked Walmart (it's in the middle of the Fargo area). The shelves need to be rezoned better. Management needs to really get on top of some of the workers -- clearly things are not being organized, fixed up, or cleaned. It's sad to see this place go down. However, with all that said, it still is a Walmart and has the necessities you need. P.S. Social distancing is definitely not happening here. The lines can get bad, space can't happen, so people start bunching up.

First the electric wheelchairs at both locations die within 5 minutes of driving them. I went back to the front to get another one and the guy at the door was so nasty and unhelpful. Did our shopping and when I got home we were overcharged. Took the receipt back and customer service treated me like I was lying. She left the counter because she didn't know what to do. When she came back she questioned me again like I was not being truthful. I told her to look at the receipt, look at the camera I have no reason to lie. My brother bought some eggs, same trip. We looked at them at home and they were dirty, 2 were broken, and they had gray veins. Disgusting. Never have I ever seen this before. Because of all the recalls, we tossed them. A few days later we opened the milk which was supposed to be good for another 3 days. It smelled horrible and that also went in the trash. Emailed Corporate and they did nothing...NOTHING.
