Although they were not the least expensive or available immediately, they worked with me and the tricky new schedule of having a newborn to ensure the insulation was done efficiently and correctly, with professionalism and with minimal disruptions. My only suggestion would be to keep household objects covered with tarp or plastic during the whole job. Not just when there's sawing or 'messy work' going on. If it's a room where there will be a lot of foot traffic the floor cloth is good, but plastic over furniture etc would be a great help when it comes to us cleaning up afterwards. However, the guys did great given that I didn't insist things be covered more often. Yes, I would use Hill & Co. again.

Because of that history, I trusted that these systems were being properly inspected and maintained. I am now selling my home, and the buyer's inspection identified several HVAC-related issues, including disconnected ductwork in the attic and concerns regarding the venting of the water heater and furnace. What is especially frustrating is that these issues were not identified during the annual maintenance visits. I am now dealing with repairs during the sale of my home and additional unexpected expenses. I contacted Hill & Company about the disconnected ductwork and was quoted $700 to repair it. Given that this is part of a system purchased from Hill & Company and maintained by them annually, I expected a much better explanation of how this condition was missed. I am extremely disappointed with the quality of the maintenance and the way this situation has been handled. When you pay a company to install and maintain your HVAC equipment year after year, you expect problems like these to be identified before they become an issue during a home sale. I hope Hill & Company takes this feedback seriously and reviews how their technicians are performing these annual inspections.
