My friend's son visited Texas Tire in Longview last Tuesday and spent $2,200 on brand-new tires and wheels. Less than a week later, while driving to work this morning, a wheel completely fell off due to their negligence. It is obvious they used the wrong size lug bolts and lug nuts, putting his safety--and the safety of others on the road--at serious risk. When the young man called the store, the manager refused to provide a corporate contact number and refused to help with towing the vehicle back to their shop. Instead, they told my him to handle it himself. This is completely unacceptable. A reputable business should own up to their mistakes and do everything possible to make it right. Texas Tire's lack of responsibility and disregard for customer safety is beyond disappointing--it's dangerous. I wouldn't trust them with another vehicle at this point, and I highly recommend you take your business elsewhere unless you want to risk dealing with the same careless service. That happened to us this past weekend on our way up to the Dallas area. We were about eight minutes north of Corsicana,Texas when we have the unfortunate happening of a flat tire. We've never had a flat tire on the road before, so it was much to our surprise that we didn't have a spare tire. I did have a portable air compressor, but my tire wouldn't hold any more than about 18 pounds of air. I called my insurance company for the roadside assistance but she told me that I had to be towed to a local repair shop, and I didn't have time for that. So we looked up on Yelp and found this local company. We called, they answered. We asked how much and how long, So they said give us 30 minutes and $190. We said sold. I think they made it out in less than 15 minutes, and it took about 10 minutes to replace the tire. Fast and friendly service, credit cards accepted, Would highly recommend!

At 9:00 on a Saturday night Brandon drove 15 miles to the dead car, fixed the problem in a gravel parking lot where the car was disabled, and did the repair for far less than it would cost me to have the car towed to the nearest repair shop and fixed in town. It ended up requiring a few extra parts so he sent his team mate to drive 25 miles in one direction to pick them up while Jessie waited with us.
