He paused, said "yeaeahhh..... what do you want me to do about it??" I was shocked to say the least. He said the "permanent" (they were still investigating his death) certificate will be correct. It was not and when I called he kept interupting and saying "it will take six months to get the permanent (corrected) certificate. I finally got through to him that I HAD it and it was still wrong. He said he'd look into it, get back to me.... this was almost a month ago... I'll call later today and if it's resolved i'll increase the stars. The lack of communication was unacceptable for a business that is licensed to specialize in death. Not acknowledging shortcomings in care not only provides a lack of honesty but is unethical. Showing a lack of compassion for family member's falls short of the standard of care that should be extended to those in grief. Basic displays of humanity should be what is acknowledged in any setting for a funeral home. I made numerous attempts by phone and email to obtain follow-up information and was not properly notified of the cremation of my family member. I made additional attempts to to speak with any staff member that could advise me on what the status of my mother's cremation was without success. My advise is to please you a different business for the care of your loved one in Lubbock.

Alana Winegeart took care of every detail and was well versed in all matters of burial services. She produced the funeral brochure, book markers, Thank you cards, memorable Life video, an unbelievable Family Tree book, gorgeous Family Bible, a lovely grave side marker with a colored photograph. She took his finger prints for us to have made into a gold charm. She was even able to coordinate a military service at the last minute on that Friday, after Thanksgiving. I just loved the fully restored 1930s house with wood floors, it felt very homie. The pricing was very reasonable and was much lower than their competitors.
