Dr. Ghaderi has been fantastic. There is so much I appreciate about her, in our first meeting she did bring up the point of having the right doctor/patient match, which I did not read as a dislike of me but, an excellent way to start what is essentially a long term very personal relationship. I have seen Dr. Ghaderi several times the past year, every visit has been on time, comprehensive, helpful and ends with a plan and often a plan B as well. She has a balance of traditional and nontraditional treatments and on more than one occasion has sought outside advice for my situation. I am so grateful to have her as my doctor.

Dr. Farnoush Ghaderi is the primary physician for both of my parents and I. My parents started…read moreseeing her in late 2017 and I became one of her patients (thankfully!!!!) this Spring. She has been a literal life saver. Dr. Ghaderi is so thorough, patient and kind. In early 2018, she put my mom through a battery of tests and sent out referrals to many specialists, who found several health conditions along with Stage 1 breast cancer. Because of Dr. Ghaderi's thoroughness, she caught it early and inspired my mom to change her lifestyle in order to turn those health conditions around. One after another, Dr. Ghaderi has gotten my mom off of medications and reversed illnesses. She listens to all of my mom's concerns and never cuts appointments short so that we can handle everything. She also calls on weekends, after hours, etc. to check in with each of us depending on what's going on, and she always asks how my dad's blood pressure is doing whenever I come in for appointments (it's been stable and great readings since she got him on the right combination of medications!). She is a fantastic physician and I feel so lucky we are able to have her as our primary. She personally checks in on me to make sure symptoms, medications, and overall health are good even when I don't have upcoming appointments or any urgent concerns. She treats every issue with great care, and takes her time. This is so wildly different than any other interaction I've had with physicians over the years. Most want to shoo you away in a quick 10 minute appointment, Ghaderi asks tons of follow up questions and asks what else she can help with that day. We are so grateful for the hard work and time she puts in for us! As for the office, everyone is so pleasant and I've never had an issue getting ahold of them by phone. The whole building is new, clean and organized, and I really appreciate that!

The Hispanic woman was rude, and said "we are not taking TRANSFER PATIENTS, only NEW PATIENTS. Oh really?? WHY? The woman put me on hold. I don't appreciate being treated and discriminated against, by being put on permanent hold. If you only want MEDICAID PATIENTS, then that's all you will get. GOING TO STANFORD. Our County only gets 3rd rate doctors, and 3rd rate people to work in the office.

While I was walking to a Capitola restaurant, someone's pet pit bull lunged at and bit me through my shirt and ended up making two puncture wounds in my chest. I was alone and didn't know the area, so I looked up the nearest urgent care, which happened to be Dominican Urgent Care. I wasn't in a lot of pain, but I was in shock, and I had no idea how quickly it was necessary to see a doctor after a dog bite. I drove a little faster than I normally do, especially once I got to the parking lot. I quickly parked and walked into the urgent care with oozing blood still making the stain on my shirt bigger. There were two women at the front desk, and when I said that I had been bitten by a dog, one of them asked me for my insurance. I told her I had Kaiser and that I knew this place wasn't a Kaiser facility, but I was from out of town and didn't know where the closest Kaiser was. I also knew that Kaiser would reimburse for emergency healthcare until stabilization no matter where it is performed, plus I knew that if there wasn't a local Kaiser, they would reimburse me for the entire bill. The other woman told me that if I paid out of pocket, the bill might be more than $1000, depending on what treatment I received. In my head, I was ready to fill out the paperwork and be seen by the doctor. I told them that I understood, and then the first woman said that Kaiser might not pay for anything if I knowingly got treated here without going to the closest Kaiser. I was annoyed by the tone of both their voices. Wasn't this the most American experience ever? I had just had a terrifying experience that caused a potentially serious injury, and the two nurses at an urgent-care facility were clearly trying to get me to leave. Even if their financial advice was sound--and it was--they could have treated me more like a patient than an unwanted pest. Exasperated, I asked them if they knew where the closest Kaiser was. One of them told me there was a Kaiser urgent care in Scotts Valley, and when I asked how far away that was, she kind of rolled her eyes and said it wasn't that far and that I should try that place. Again, perfectly reasonable advice, but I could do without the attitude. Plus, I had no idea whether adding twenty more minutes to my waiting time could be detrimental to my health. I didn't think it was an emergency situation, but I also have no medical training. These two women had medical training, but they neither made me feel at ease, nor did they reassure me in any way that taking more time to drive to Kaiser was the *medically* preferable option. I ended up going to the Scotts Valley Kaiser, and everything turned out fine, but Dominican Urgent Care was the first healthcare facility I visited after a traumatic event that injured me, and people here didn't give me relief, not even any peace of mind.

Again, she would put me on hold and each time would drop after 25minutes. She finally said she could help me after the third time, asked my name and then said she would transfer me to her co worker and I am now on hold again and it's been another fifteen minutes. Instead of wasting both of our times please just communicate to your patients a better time to call opposed to them being on hold for an hour all over a phone call that normally would take five minutes. I just needed to make my first appointment as I'm looking for a new primary doctor and now I am looking elsewhere due to the simple lack of communication.

(They were scheduled to close early for a company function) she made them tell us that they wouldn't be seeing us. They saw two other people that came after us and my mom's case was urgent. We ended up having to go to the ER. My mom has dementia and doesn't do well at night. I have never been so mad at any medical professional in my life. Seriously bad!!!!!!
