Though we had a fixed bid with a general contractor who was installing the brick, Steve came out to consult with our contractor to assure the installation was correct. He made many recommendations and helped us order the right backer boards, mortar and materials. He did all of this without a charge for his time and in the end the job was perfect. I can't say enough about S.S. Schwarz as they gave us peace of mind at a very critical time in our 6 month project. He was professional, patient, responsive and thorough. Work with Steve!

Jared assessed the various projects, worked with me on prioritization, and provided a fair-priced quote within days. Jared is highly skilled -from bookcases & doors to drywall & floors - his work was fist class with attention to details and cleanliness. He also had great suggestions based on my visions vs. costs. Not to mention, Jared has an easygoing personality that makes it a pleasure to work with him. 5-stars all-around....he's the man for the job! We had Mike and his team do a MAJOR project redesigning our backyard. I can't recommend them…read morehighly enough. Their craftsmanship exceeded our expectations. We couldn't believe the detail displayed in cutting the stones to match complex contours. The two level Teppanyaki bar complete with cut corners and toe rail is spectacular. The crew was pleasant and professional. Everybody involved was easy to do business with. When we wanted to make changes they were quick to adapt and implement. They transformed our backyard pool area into a fully functional resort with multiple grills, Teppanyaki bar and gas fire pit. To make it more weather resistant they installed a Pergola over the kitchen area with closing louvers that make it rain proof complete with heaters. The electrical design and installation was a masterpiece, fully functional and unobtrusive. Glad we followed their lead on installing lightning.

The quality of the work has warranted the low rating. They did not order the correct quantity of carpet to begin with, which meant two occasions for installation. But I do understand mistakes can happen. However, I now see that should have been a flag. After less than 6 months, there are multiple very visible seams in several locations. The worst being in the middle of a hallway - a major area of the house. I had never ever seen a seam in any carpet ever before, any where, so it was strange and somewhat shocking. They did respond and schedule to fix it in a timely manner. However, after spending 3 hours to supposedly fix the issues, a week later, the seams are just as bad. This has colored the whole experience to be extremely disappointing and I would not recommend them. At least not for carpeting.
