First visit today was splendid & efficient! With a store front located on the 2nd floor and prices conveniently presented on their glass wall along with the specials on a whiteboard, one can't miss it. Various facial services are offered here from threading, waxing, eyelashes, facials, bleaching, and even henna designs. It didn't look too busy today so I decided to try them out and got a full face threading ($30). Anisha was very friendly, checking often if I was comfortable, taking her time ensuring every nook & cranny was covered. :) Services was completed w a final touch of aloe vera & minerals to ease any possible redness that sometimes follow after threading services. Anisha also touched up the ends of my brows w a special powdered mineral to help w growth - all at no additional cost. Will I be back? Most definitely! I don't frequent this mall much, except for specific shops. But I will be adding Moon's Day Spa to my short list as I was quite pleased with today's service. Plus, this location is closer & convenient to me than having to make the trek out to Parkway Mall. Give 'em a try! You just may add this place to your list too. ;) read more

I went to get my eyebrows done the lady was very rude. The sign says they close at 700 I came in at 645 she wanted me to wait 10 minutes while she ate her food. Who runs a business like that ?Then she was rude. I would not recommend this place at all please go to someone who values your hard earned dollars either black owned or American owned. read more

I went in for a microblading session (I purchased a Groupon) and one of the five brazilians that I purchased as a set on Groupon. I started out getting the eyebrows done. I had them threaded for the first time ever. Honestly, this hurt a ton less than waxing (but I have a high pain tolerance). Afterwards, we drew on the exact shape of brow that I wanted, numbed the outmost layer of skin, and set to work. It was a bit painful to draw the outline in, but afterwards my eyebrows were completely numbed to begin the full fill in process. It did not hurt at all at this point, just felt a weird scratching sensation. I would say the least pleasurable part of this experience was the scratching sound/feeling. My brows turned out exactly how I wanted. I now have cut my makeup time down to about 10 minutes tops. I am excited to see my brows fade over time and see how they turn out. As for the waxing, I did not see anything unsanitary about the process. The woman who did my wax did not double dip the wax stick. Instead, she placed the wax she used on me in a smaller container, from the large melting pot, using a clean spoon. The only part I did not enjoy about the waxing was that they did not use numbing spray like my previous esthetician and they did not fully remove all of the wax residue afterwards, which left me feeling sticky. I also got mink eyelash extensions for the first time, just to try them out. My eyelashes feel beautiful. I definitely recommend getting them, but I would say try to keep yourself awake. It is very easy to get relaxed and fall asleep, but then you might jolt yourself awake like I did and end up with a little stinging sensation in your eye. But I loved the end result. My lashes are naturally straight, but now they are wonderfully curly and full. I was charged for the threading, which I thought was included in the microblading, so that came as small shock. However, even though I did not purchase the lash extension on Groupon, Moon honored the Groupon price. I went to the Trussville location, which was extremely clean and convenient. I will be trying out the Galleria location for my follow up waxes. read more

Got my eyebrows, upper lip, and even a Brazilian wax done here for the first time and it all turned out great (the last one was very painful though). The lady who performed all of this on me was really nice though. And only reason I'm giving this place 4 stars is because I later found out that other places offer numbing spray before getting a Brazilian wax so that would have been nice to have at the moment. But overall, I am pleased with the results. read more

Ok so I just had to leave a star, but this place deserves none! The lady is RUDE as heck. I work nearby and noticed that the place was slow- no business, should have used it as a red flag. So I went in to get my brows done. I entered, she never looked up from her phone. I was just standing there as if she was mad I even walked in. I was like; "Hello." She then looked up with an attitude saying; "May I help you?" I proceeded to get my brows done. She was so rough threading my brows until 2 days after they still burned. NEVER AGAIN!!! Went to get my eyebrows threaded, and it was raining. They are following their own guideline where they are only allowing one client in at a time (keep in mind there is only one worker there today as well). I asked the lady if it was okay to stand just inside the door since it was raining and she responded saying only one person at a time, so I asked "so you want me to stand in the rain" and she responded saying "yeah". Wow. I understand the guidelines people are following due to COVID but that was so very unprofessional. read more

This place is horrible ! Nobody ever answers the phone, when I just showed up the lady had an attitude.. I got my Brazilian wax done here on March 9, it was HORRIBLE. She said I grew the hair too long so I asked her to trim it BEFORE she started waxing. Wax was also too hot for my sensitive skin and she said she could not cool it a little (not true; not my first time waxing so I know). After several pulls and unnecessary pain (minimum hair was coming off with each pull) she finally decides to trim it. After she's done, she put baby powder on the area. When I went home to take a shower to wash off the waxy residue that was left, I noticed that the baby powder she put on the area was to cover the fact she cut me and I was continuously bleeding. The cut was so deep you could see the tissue underneath. In addition to the cut, she left small patches of hair. Worst place ever, never go here. I regret even paying for it. They don't get much business for a reason. read more

In town for work. Needed a Brazilian and full leg. Purchased a Groupon for this place. Made an appt. Arrived and was told they only honor Groupons Mon-Wed (not noted on the Groupon). A couple ladies talked in their language then agreed to let me use it since I was getting a full leg too. I was getting waxed and told I needed my butt waxed too...for $20 more. No thanks ill pass and she asked like 3 more times. It's always been included between my full leg and Brazilian wherever else I go in the world. Then I asked about the butt strip for the Brazilian and was told it wasn't included with the Groupon and would be $5 more. Since when is it not included with ANY Brazillian? Website says full legs are $50+ I figured mine would be $60 maybe $65...nope $75 and I know it was to recoop the groupon discount. The place is dirty. Big open room with nothing in it. Rip off as well as you will see almost all the prices on the website have a "+" so they can determine what they want to charge when. Would not reccomend this place at all! Appears maybe under new ownership recently based off past reviews and facility. read more
