I had a visit where a painful rash had developed across several areas of my body. The initial…read moremedicince prescribed alleviated pain but the rash was not getting better and a new medicine was prescribed which cleared up the rash completely. The rash seems to have originated as a reaction to a common, very popular brand of anti-perspirant. While reviewing my skin condition, Dr. Hesterman checked out a mole which seemed to be changing and performed an immediate biopsy then submitted the tissue to a lab for review. A skin cancer was detected and I have received further treatment and review to make sure no further issues developed. Supposedly gave me 78 units which I've never had in my life and a quarter of my face looks like it had Botox. The other looks awful. I do not recommend them at all. I used to be married to a facial plastic surgeon so I know when doctors use expired Botox or fillers. And that's exactly what they did to me. I would never suggest going to them. It was a terrible experience and I will never ever go back.

I really wanted to like Covert Wellness, but my experience was frustrating from start to finish…read more Their availability for services is extremely limited, and that alone wouldn't be a deal‑breaker--except they sell expensive service packages without making it clear that appointments are hard to get. What's worse is that some of the services in these packages must be completed within a short time frame, yet it's nearly impossible to book enough sessions to finish them. I felt misled after spending a significant amount of money on something I realistically couldn't use as promised. The staff may be friendly, but the business model feels poorly managed and not transparent. I would strongly recommend asking detailed questions about scheduling and availability before purchasing anything here. I paid thousands for a package I will never get and they don't do refunds.

I lost $2,900 in a blink, after I canceled the scheduled eye bag removal surgery due to serious…read moremedical concerns. I do NOT recommend this facility at all. I am sharing my personal (terrible) experience with Wilson Plastic Surgery, particularly regarding how financial and medical information was disclosed. I experienced a consistent pattern from start to finish: important disclosures -- the consent form, the complication-liability terms, a legible copy of the cancellation policy -- arrived only after I had already paid. By the time I had full information at any stage, walking away already cost me money. * I was told the Surgery Proposal was "simply a proposal," not a binding contract with a cancellation penalty, and I was not given a copy of it when I signed. * The consent form disclosing 100% patient liability for complications was sent to me only after my first deposit was already paid. * My final consultation with Dr. Wilson -- where the real risks were actually discussed -- was scheduled only 16 days before my surgery date, already inside the 50% cancellation window. * At that consultation, Dr. Wilson asked me to change my pre-anesthesia questionnaire answers from "Unsure" to "No," to proceed with the surgery, even though I genuinely did not have the information at the time. * I canceled after learning of a specific, serious family medical history involving anesthesia complications, and I notified the office immediately. I was told not to worry, rather than being connected with the doctor to discuss it. * I asked to speak with Dr. Wilson directly before the cancellation was finalized and was not given that chance. * I requested copies of documents I had signed back in their office and did not receive a legible copy until months later, after I had already paid in full -- and one specific document I asked for still has not been provided (even after more than 4 months passed).

UPDATE: Response to owner: I want to clarify my experience after the office response. I scheduled…read morethis consultation in advance and specifically asked staff when I should arrange my Uber home. I was given a timeframe and relied on that guidance. After arriving on time and completing intake and photos, I was then told there would be an additional 30-45 minute delay before seeing the doctor--contradicting what I had been told earlier. I was also informed my Uber would continue charging while waiting, which created a stressful and impractical situation. While the office states I left voluntarily and that consults take about an hour, my decision was based on the inconsistent and changing timing communicated by staff during the visit. The core issue here is not the length of a consultation, but the lack of clear, coordinated communication. I did receive a refund of my deposit, but patients should be given accurate expectations upfront, especially when arranging transportation. I scheduled a consultation with this office before I even moved to Alabama and paid the required $100 deposit. Unfortunately, my experience was extremely disappointing and ended up being a complete waste of my time. The front desk staff were pleasant, and the initial part of the appointment went smoothly. I had photos taken and met with another staff member who was very kind and professional. However, after that, things quickly went downhill. Before arriving, I specifically asked when I should schedule my Uber home and was given a timeframe by the office. I planned accordingly. After waiting, I was then informed that it would be an additional 30-45 minutes before I could even see the doctor. Several staff members responded with comments such as, "I don't know who told you that," and made it clear that the wait time I had been given was incorrect. Rather than taking ownership of the miscommunication, I felt like I was being brushed off. What was most frustrating is that I never even got to see the physician despite arriving on time, completing all of the preliminary steps, and paying a deposit for the consultation. The lack of organization, poor communication, and unprofessional handling of the situation left a very negative impression. I understand that delays can happen in a medical office, but clear communication and accountability matter. Unfortunately, this experience did not reflect the level of professionalism I would expect from a surgical practice.

My esthetician Rezan went through a deeply personalized examination of my skin, listened to my concerns, gave really detailed advice (she was knowledgeable on the medical aspect of why skin does what it does), she wasn't afraid to use examples from her own skin journey, and best of all she did not try to oversell me on products. She really got to know my needs & fit the whole experience to take care of ME.
