Deborah at Moonlighting is fabulous, and she's an incredible stylist. Plus the salon is stunning. Highly recommend!

I scheduled an appointment for highlight, cut and blowout with Kevin. When I got to the salon, Debra and Kevin both worked magic on my hair which needed a color correct badly. The products they used on my hair was transforming. What talent!! Beautiful highlights and cut. Best blowout I've ever had. Ten stars all the way. I left Her salon with gorgeous hair read more

My first haircut since COVID-19, Moonlighting is doing it the right way! The salon is super cute and clean and follows all the protocols for the reopening. Kelvin is extremely professional, my haircut turned out to be amazing, he listens and he delivers. There are only 2 stylists so appointments are required, I recommend Moonlighting. read more

Kevin is so amazing! He did my hair for a wedding an did an amazing job! My hair is super silky and difficult at times- but not for Kevin!

Kevin is the man! I have a very specific style and even as a male I flat iron my hair, so you can imagine I pay close attention to detail. Not to worry, because so does he! I've never met a stylist that strives for perfection and All the while reading what you came in for, which is to stand out in a crowd not look the same. If Michelin stars could be given to a salon, you'd see at least one here, other than Kevin himself. read more

Kevin was absolutely top notch. The water pressure at my hotel was inadequate to rinse my thick hair, so I started to Google hair salons in a panic. Kevin listened carefully, gave me an excellent shampoo and the best blow out I have had in awhile! I would highly recommend him! Diane T read more

Kevin was a dream. He had a long consult with me to make sure the cut I wanted would look great once executed. He took his time and was very detailed throughout the entire experience. I had him take off about 4-5 inches and I love my new low maintenance look. The salon is small, quaint and clean. I can't wait to go back for a blowout or to get color added & mainly just to hang out with Kevin again soon! read more

Only been once so far. Kevin listened to what I wanted and did a great job. I will return.

I just went in for a blowout and asked for my hair to be straight. They kept trying to talk me into curly hair which I have an asked for a smooth blow out. The young man drying my hair was very sweet, but he knew less about blow drying than I did. He kept curling it, then straightening it, then trying to do other things to it and I ultimately left with wavy and slightly frizzy hair thst I was very disappointed with. It killed me to pay the $60 to do something I could've done better at home. read more

I was on vacation in Napa and needed a haircut. Kevin gave me a great, very modern cut. I wish I didn't live 8 hours away. I would go back regularly. read more

My wife was in serious need of wash/blow dry for my Godson's wedding in Pleasanton. We had driven to Yountville to visit our favorite boutique winery, Hope&Grace. As luck would have it, we were a bit early, but a mere 50 feet away was the hair salon, Moonlighting. Kevin had just arrived, his breakfast in hand, but was gracious enough to accommodate my wife's sartorial needs. He was extremely affable, efficient and talented, in addition to being a very nice human being. Anyone either living near or visiting this area who happens to be in need of any type of hair styling should most definitely check this place out - you won't be disappointed. read more

Moonlighting is fully in compliance with the State's orders for hair salons. I was in yesterday and was completely comfortable knowing and seeing that their strict adherence to the law in terms of sanitizing, hair cutting tools, drapes, and masks was being done. If you want a great stylist and conscientious business, I wholeheartedly recommend you phone Debrah, the owner of Moonlighting. read more

Sister business to Luxe Spa in Napa, this hair salon has apparently been around for years. The owner - very small-town, down-to-earth- friendly has been cutting and highlight hair for (seriously) like 30+ years. And my situation was a CHALLENGE. Lots and lots of chemical and color already in my hair. AND I needed my color corrected. Call me "fickle" :-) They did a great job! Exactly what I wanted, didn't dry out or damage my hair and - get this - $70 for a TWO step process. Honestly, I thought they made a mistake when they told me the price! I just took my new "do" and ran :) read more

I have extremely course, curly hair & is always difficult to find a stylist who can blow dry curly hair straight. I called the salon & asked if anyone there was able to blow dry curly hair straight & Debbie, the owner, assured me Kevin was terrific so I made an appt. The salon is in a beautiful courtyard off Washington St. & has a relaxing, extremely friendly vibe. I was greeted by Debbie & Kevin & was taken to Kevin's chair so he could see what needed to be done. I brought all the products I use as well as my special round brush that grabs curly hair. Kevin does a fabulous shampoo & massage when conditioning & did a great job blow drying & flat ironing my hair. His vivacious personality is so inviting I felt like I have been coming to the salon for years. When checking out Debbie gave me her card & wrote down her cell # if I needed to make another appt. They both hugged me goodbye which I love. I made an appt. before leaving for a blow dry the following week but a few days ago I realized I needed to have my base color done. I called Debbie who made an appt. for me the next day. I had the formula with me so I texted it to her so she could mix the exact color I had. She did an amazing job with the color & also did a fabulous blow dry & flat iron as well. I have an appt. next week for a blow dry. I will be a regular client when we come back to stay for 7 months in May. Thank you Debbie & Kevin you guys are the BEST!!! read more

Debrah has a gift for hair color, styles, cuts. She can size you up, figure out what is best for your face, your body, your coloring, your "look" and then craft your hair to make you look 10 years younger and very "with it". It is an absolute art. She is flexible on appointments, easy to communicate with, has a comfortable salon with easy parking (free). She is good with men, women, children, any age, any "look". I also think she is reasonable. read more

Love Jana! She is amazing at her craft! Plus, she is a character and will make you laugh the whole time!

Debrah is an amazing colorist...one of the best I've found! Her salon is excellently located in Yountville next to Bouchon Bakery, Hope & Grace Wine Tasting Room, and lots of other Yountville favorites. Debrah not only provides expertise in color and hair styling, but her energy will instill tons of fun into your appointment. Whether you're a local or a visitor, visiting Moonlighting for your latest hair needs is well worth the trip. read more

Last weekend, our son was married in Napa Valley. I sought to find a hair stylist in Yountville and because of YELP reviews, I chose Moonlighting. My initial experience with Kevin was so exceptional, that I asked to return on wedding day, lucked out and was able to return for service on that day. As a 66 year old woman, I have had my hair done numerous times, all over the world. Kevin was the best I have ever been to for a blow out, including NYC. He took a lot of time to learn what I wanted and executed all in a professional manner. Beyond that, he is charming guy. When we return to Yountville in December, I will be sure to go back to Moonlighting!! read more

Oh my this salon is amazing. I decided to donate my hair to Locks of Love in honor of my mother in law who has terminal cancer and found this place in my own little neighborhood while walking to my local cafe. Debbie was awesome! A total professional. I didn't even have to say anything, . .she knew exactly what I needed and wanted and took great care of me. I'm usually a low maintanence gal, . .since I'm always working out (running, kickboxing, mountain biking) and I work from home but heck hair is hair and it is interesting how getting a hair cut can be so personal and scary. I can't reccomend this place enough. My hair cut cost me $55 and I tipped $20 and $5 for the shampoo girl. More than I usually do but this was my first time and I was so pleased with the service. Not bad considering the fact that this place gives fantastic service. There was a bit of a mix up with the appointment. I was told 12:45 but they were expecting me at 12:15 but the super friendly nature of everyone there was just wonderful. You have to check this place out. read more
