Walked-in 10 PM on a Friday evening, the place did not appear busy, less than a third occupied. A hostess/sever inquired if we had a reservation, we did not, (we popped in on a whim). It was a bit of an odd interaction, almost as-if they only accept reservations? We were about to give up and just go next door, as my friend gestured at the empty seats and asked if we could sit at the bar, also only occupied by a couple. We should have taken this first impression as a sign to leave. It took over 30 minutes just to order our cocktails, only to then be told they're out of everything and can only make four of the signature cocktails. We then waited another 15+ minutes to receive our basic "essential" cocktails that were still $20-25/each. Only few other guest trickled in after us, leaving most of the bar still empty. We tried to withhold our judgment, assuming maybe there just wasn't enough staff. But the servers would stand around talking amongst themselves behind the bar or with a possible boyfriend. At this point, the other guests near by are also getting restless trying to order/closeout. A group of men gave up and finally walked out. The lack of service and quality cocktails were the greatest offenders. However, for a place trying to position itself as a luxury, hotel lobby bar-inspired experience, the vibe is just off. The large fake plants look cheap and the giant teddy bear is just weird. The only redeeming feature was the pianist. I guess I'll stick to their other concepts.

On this occasion I had the Orecchiette, which is an Italian pasta dish. What I also notice the prices on their dishes were extremely affordable and who doesn't like affordable in these times. Overall, I think this will be a nice add to the neighborhood and when the weather warms up a bit they have a nice patio area that blends with the dinner area well.
