None of us are sure how it happened. I picked up my truck, and never noticed it until I washed my truck a week later. They never knew it either. I brought the truck back to them and showed the damage to Carl, and he got the Supervisor also to look at it. Rather than run from a problem and try to say it was my fault, or was something they did not do...they took immediate ownership of the situation and made the decision to replace the guards. This is what seperate's an average business from a great business. They owned the problem right away, made no excuses, and fixed it as soon as possible. After exchanging info with the person who hit me, I began my journey with insurance companies and on a recommendation from Molle Toyota (where I have my cars serviced) I found Hendricks. I was encouraged when I saw the Yelp reviews and made an appointment. When I arrived they did a quick assessment of the damage and then told me they'd be in touch with next steps. Now, this was mid October and I had to follow up with them several times to get any feedback on where we were at (which was annoying), and then by the time November came we had a new baby so life got pretty chaotic. They eventually got back to me mid November letting me know that they thought that the car had sustained more damage than Allstate agreed to pay for so they were asking for more money to do the fix. Since the car was still at our house, Allstate sent someone over to evaluate and luckily for us they agreed with Hendricks and we more than doubled what the insurance was initially willing to pay. I can't speak to repair work or timeliness on that front but I am very grateful for these folks as had they not challenged the quote from the insurance we wouldn't have gotten as much for our car.
