I went to Stripes because I had been here once before with my mom and I don't really like going to new nail places if I haven't been there before. I asked the nail tech my nails were long enough for a gel manicure. She called over another nail tech, held my hands up to her, asked her a question, and they laughed at me. Then they strongly recommended I get acrylic tips which I did not want, but ended up getting anyway. I will say my nails look nice for what I got. They did a good job, but during the whole appointment I felt humiliated and embarrassed. I likely won't be returning.

Additionally, Dr Olga scanned my face to determine all of the damage and imperfections in order to customize the treatment plan and creams just for my skin! I haven't tried other treatments yet, but am scheduling Botox and a laser treatment as the next steps. The office is very clean and tranquil, and the personnel is knowledgeable, patient and friendly. There's SO much more to the human body than just those things. They charge $60 for a full hour but $40 for a half hour. You show up and they tell you they only can give you a half hour? That's a scam. Is not over yet. Then you pay her and she presses you for a tip of you don't include one. I understand tipping being a customary practice across many industries. What she refuses to understand is that, if I don't offer you a tip, it's because I'm unsatisfied with your service. Simple as that. I've had incredibly good massages in my life in different states and countries. This place is garbage. Don't waste your money.
