However, I had no idea what a treat we were in for. He took the time to get to know us, and designed his curriculum and lessons around our particular needs as a family. Knowing that we would not be able to master Japanese in two weeks, he decided to equip us for context-appropriate conversations: greetings, farewells, asking for directions, ordering food, reading signs, the appropriate way to behave at Shinto Shrines, and so many more things. So he not only taught us about the language, but also about the customs, the religion, and the culture of Japan. The icing on the cake was that he can adapt his teaching style to both adults and children. He kept our children engaged by making the lessons very hands-on. Jeffrey is an outstanding, competent, caring, professional instructor whom we cannot recommend highly enough. Jeffrey, arrogato gozaimashita!

I admit, I wasn't the best at math, and needed help. So glad that I found Power of Yet Tutorial. Ms. Henri is patient and knows how to connect with kids. Additionally, she gave me the option to stay with my daughter as she learned. This was great and put my mind at ease with working with someone new. We recently got progress reports and my daughter moved from a 59% in math, to a 70%! This was after about 3 weeks of tutoring (twice a week). I am going to continue to use Power Of Yet Tutoring because I know that my daughter will continue to make progress. I recommend Ms. Henri's services because I have seen results....Not to mention she has fair prices compared to other private tutors. Cherry on top is that she is a certified teacher...so LOTS of experience. I also like that she is flexible where I can either drop my daughter off at her place, or she will make the drive to our house and did not charge extra. She also offers online tutoring a less cost which is cool. Just realized how long of a review I wrote, but definitely worth it lol. Nothing beats the feeling I get seeing my daughter more confident in her math skills. Thanks Ms. Henri!

I’m Ms. Henri. My journey in education began in 2020. When volunteering as a youth group leader at my church. I realized then that it was my calling to work with children. After obtaining a Master of Arts in Elementary Education a few years later, I became a fourth-grade English Language Arts teacher. It is my belief that all children are capable of excelling in any area in which they put their minds. Proper academic growth also requires an educator’s willingness to put in the work and time that is needed to tailor learning to the individual needs of each learner. I look forward to guiding your child towards reaching their academic goals. Rates in-person private tutor 1hr $60 in-person private tutor 2hr $76 online tutoring 1hr $50 online tutoring 2hr $66

The post course assessment was great to provide some structure on how to study after the course ends and before the real exam. Overall Manhattan Prep is a great service for studying for the GMAT, and Jamie in particular is a fantastic instructor who will help you achieve your goal score!

After a few weeks of attempting to study for the test on my own, I made the same choice many in my position do, and I reluctantly signed up for a very expensive class. Ultimately, this turned out to be a great decision. The Good: James, the Atlanta instructor, is why this review gets five stars. He is fantastic. He teaches the required curriculum, but then he goes beyond that and helps students understand the test, the best guessing strategies, and even those pesky math fundamentals that I have not used since high school. What I feel set this class apart from experiences my peers have had with other companies, is that James was always available. Even 4 months after the class, when I it was Steve vs. the GMAT, round II, I still got help with my GMAT questions via email. The online tutorial sessions are also fantastic. You can use them to supplement your in class and at home work, and ensure that you stay on track. What I liked most about them, is that they tended to be very personalized. The attendance was low, so it was typically a 3:1 ratio, which provided a very interactive learning environment. My only complaint about the class, is that they don't have a very solid "guarantee." After my first try at the test, I needed more help, and though James was available to answer specific questions, and the online materials were at my finger tips, I would have appreciated a chance to sit for more live classes. Overall, I HIGHLY recommend MGMAT to anyone.
