Needless to say we love our landscaping now! The crew did a great job and everyone we worked with was professional and really nice. My 3 year old liked the landscaping crew so much that on the day they did the work I had to run some errands and I told her it was time to go. She told me, "That's okay, I will just stay with them!" Haha. We would recommend Country Arbors to anyone who is in the market for some new landscaping whether the job is big or small.

I never review places so this is a first time, but I felt compelled to recommend this location…read more First, I went in to browse sectionals but their actual store is a bit tiny (but they can order you furniture/customize order ect.) upon looking in their clearance section downstairs I found a pretty slick coffee table marked down $1278 dollars ?? So I snagged a really cool coffee table for the price I would have paid at Walmart or IKEA which was plan A after the sectional purchase. Secondly, I arranged the coffee table to be delivered. I live up 4 sets of stairs, guilt is already setting in. I tell Todd the delivery guy (who conveniently is available to reach by text) that I live in a somewhat non ideal location for moving stuff. He says no problem and when he gets to my place he had a guy with him so I only had to open doors. I was already going to tip because of the stairs but they made it look so easy! Me and friends practically died moving couches up those bad boy stairs. But here's the kicker, THEY DENIED MY TIP, SAYING IT WAS INCLUDED WITH THE PURCHASE. My super discounted purchase! Great business, great people. Only negative side is I will always feel guilty I didn't convince them to take the tip!

A quaint furniture store that offers window treatments, custom orders and free design services in…read moredowntown Monticello. The store serves all of Champaign and Piatt counties as well as beyond. While I always prefer to give my business to local operators, I really had no choice but to go outside the area to get skillful interior design and furniture. The owner is charming and seems to have good taste, BUT, she suffers from poor follow-through and makes promises she apparently has no intention of delivering on. There is nothing more frustrating than needing to get a project wrapped up and waiting for weeks upon weeks for answers or design proposals. Spend your money in Indianapolis, Chicago, or St. Louis where companies deliver on their promises and actually work for their money.

I can't say enough good things about Maverick Service. From the very first phone call they…read moredelivered excellent service. I was referred to them for a commercial True refrigerator that had stopped working, and I needed a company that could handle potential warranty work. I spoke with Shannon (or Sharon, I apologize if I have the name slightly wrong). She was professional, patient, and extremely helpful with the extra paperwork required because I'm with a nonprofit. She made the process smooth. Blake, the operations manager, then reached out promptly, gathered detailed information about the refrigerator, the ice machine, and the other units that needed maintenance, and scheduled the appointment at a time that worked for both of us. On the morning of the service call he called to let me know the technician was on the way. Chris, the service engineer, arrived on time and was outstanding. He started with the ice machine, walked me through the troubleshooting steps as he went, and quickly isolated the problem to a dump valve. He gave me the option to clean or replace it, I chose to replace it for long-term reliability. He even had a compatible part on the truck, confirmed it with the office, installed it, and showed me the correct operating cycle so I could see it was fixed properly. He then cleaned the other units that needed maintenance and taught me the process so I can do it myself every three months (while also offering ongoing service if I prefer). Finally he diagnosed the True refrigerator, identified the failed part, and determined it was covered under a True recall/warranty. He coordinated with True's warranty department, ordered the parts, and returned once they arrived. Blake again accommodated my schedule so I could be on-site when Chris came back. Chris installed the new part, cycled the unit multiple times to confirm the repair, and left everything working correctly. Blake also mentioned they service other equipment (including popcorn machines), which is helpful to know for the future. What impressed me most was the combination of strong technical skill and clear communication. Chris uses a solid Condition Cause Correction Confirm approach and takes the time to explain what he's doing. As someone with a technical background, I appreciated that. It's rare to find a technician who is both highly competent and excellent with customers. I would not hesitate to call Maverick Services again and I highly recommend them, especially Chris. Great company, great people.
