But I loved the idea of taking the painting somewhere in the neighborhood to be framed. When I walked in, I knew I'd made the right decision. The customer service was incredible - they really walked us through options, pricing, and other details. They explained it might take them a while to get to the project and offered to let us keep the painting at home for a while until they could work on the frame. We ended up going with something modern, minimalist, and simple, because the painting is busy enough on its own, but they have a really incredible selection of frames to choose from. From modern to traditional, simple to ornate - they have it all. While we made arrangements for the framing (measuring, quote, etc.), I wandered around the shop, which is also a gallery. It has some really incredible art. It's worth stopping into as a gallery as much as a framing store, especially if you have some bare walls at home. They called when our piece was ready, and I couldn't wait to pick it up. Just as promised - it's perfect. I thought the price was extremely fair and reasonable (honestly, I think I'd have paid even more at that chain big box store - you know the one).
