My friends and I decided to visit Moon Curser for a tasting and although the individual running the tour was knowledgeable and engaging, I wasn't wowed by the wines. I mean, they are good, but when compared to the other wineries in the area, the wines scored lower on my list. This was a smaller vineyard so the tasting area was held inside, which felt more like a basement even though it was on the ground floor. It's still worth a visit if you're in the area though. read more

I called the winery in hopes to find their Marsanne/Roussane Rhone blend. Crystal answered the phone and went above and beyond- she said she would pull info of which store in Vernon stocked it and get back to me. Literally 10mins later she texted me the store name that stocked the blend I was looking for AND 2 other Rhone varieties she thought I may be interested in. This level of professionalism coupled with exemplary customer service does not exist anymore. I would hire Crystal in a heartbeat if I ran a winery or liquor store. Give this woman a raise! When trying to figure out what wineries to go try out, I like to try to find out what they have on the Internet. This place has a great website, and lots of reds (which is what I tend to prefer when it comes to wines). They are located on a gorgeous plot of land on the east side of Osoyoos. Their wines were quite enjoyable (it was hard to keep our cap of 2 bottles per winery). We ended up grabbing "Afraid of the Dark" (a Marsanne, Roussanne, and Chardonnay blend), and "Dead of Night" (a Tannat/Syrah blend). This is one we will definitely be going back to! read more

I very much enjoyed our visit to Moon Curser when we were in the area. We mapped out our stops before leaving on the trip (we only had an afternoon to do it all so had to be strategic) and I think it was the name of the wines (as well as the large number of reds they offered) that mostly attracted us to this one. Inside was nice, spacious and air conditioned (ahhhh) and the people behind the counter were very knowledgeable. Any questions we asked they could answer and, of course, had all sorts of interesting tidbits about their offerings along the way. You can try their entire selection if you want (some have a limit, or offer a set tasting menu) - too bad I still had a few hours of driving ahead of me and had to limit myself! We purchased "Afraid of the Dark" and "Dead of the Night" but I'm sure we could have walked away with a number more if we weren't trying to watch space in the car & pocketbooks. And, as with all of the wineries in the area, the view was gorgeous. Highly recommend a visit if you're passing through. read more

I am not a wine snob and can truthfully drink most anything that has alcohol. A few nights ago, I had Moon Curser Syrah recommended at a restaurant in Nelson, British Columbia, and it was excellent. Since we were headed down the Okanagan Valley, my fellow travelers wanted to stop here during our one night stay in Osoyoos. The winery is attractive and the folks behind the counter were fun, friendly, and helpful. I only took a sip of the Syrah as I am not much for mid-day wine drinking. Try me at dinner time, though! I bought a bottle of the Syrah which was about $23.00 Canadian. There are a number of awards displayed around so I am assuming that Moon Curser really knows their business. I am not a regular visitor at wineries, but this was a good place to visit. The view is great, the wine is fine, and they all have a good time presenting a product that they are proud of. read more

I really enjoyed Moon Curser. Everything is good. Literally everything! The space is charming, and great wine with a great view is always a good idea. My 2 favorites here were Afraid of the Dark and Arneis, but really, everything here is absolutely fantastic. I especially liked the Arneis because it was so unique. This was one of my top 3 favorite places when wine tasting in the Osoyoos/Oliver area. read more

This winery is doing it right. This was the first of the wineries we chose to hit up on our tour of BC wineries. I tasted 7 different wines, none of which were terrible. Here's how they did it right: --atmosphere: tasting room is located on the property overlooking the vineyard, lake, and beautiful mountains. --service: Bev was the only employee on duty, and she was crushing it! She attended to all of the patrons (and there were a lot). She was very knowledgeable about all the wines! --wines (most important): tasty, good flavor and may or may not have walked out with 6 bottles. Hopefully, I will be back soon! read more

Beautiful tasting room in a nice location. Loved the story behind the bi years name. Wines were very mediocre and staff wasn't very friendly. They seemed a bit impatient and fed up wish tourists. 2 stars for the location, but we didn't like the wines. read more

On our recent girl week getaway I had the wonderful opportunity to check this vineyard out. Based on descriptors I doubted I would enjoy any of their current offerings; however I was pleasantly surprised on every count. Great Rose, Border Vines, Petit Verdot and Cab Sauv. Their story and artwork are quirky and dark. It was nice to experience grape varietals not being offered by many other of the wineries. Will definitely be going back and ordering these wines on any local menu I may come across. read more

Love this little place. Their ROSE "nothing to declare" is one of our favorites from Osoyoos, (no it's not sweet) Love the view and the chill vibe. Each time we have been here the staff are wonderful they treat you like family. I may have a little crush on the Quebec lady from the maritimes. (Can we be friends) Such a great spot. read more

Love this winery! Wow, if you are a bordeaux lover then they do have what you need. I love Boarder Vines, Tempranillo 2011, Dead of Night 2010 and my white is Afraid of the Dark. What a wonderful opportunity to enjoy big "red shag carpet" floral, berry, stone fruity wines with pepper and leather! I tasted 7 wines here, and they were good, but when compared to the other vineyards in the area this place just doesn't stack up as well as the other reviews would make it seem. The reds seemed overdone and the whites were just... eh, whites. It is great wine, as evidenced by the many accolades displayed in the tasting room, but it just isn't what I'd want to bring home as a souvenir from the region. read more

This one used to be twisted trees I believe. I didn't know and went here thinking that it was a brand new winery. I had low expectations. However, I was surprised to find that it was one of my favourite wineries the whole trip. There are some incredible Reds here and a few special whites. I recommend stopping in if you're in a osoyoos. I was also very impressed by the friendliness of the staff, who are knowledgeable, approachable and friendly towards children joining us on our tour. Overall I had an excellent experience. read more

The wines were good but let's be honest the wines on the area tend to taste the same unless you have a good background. The staff was very knowledgeable and excellent at serving larger groups. Expect to pay $30-$40 per bottle. read more
