It took my case 6 months to get resolved when it could have been done in a month maybe 2 at max. The only time I was able to speak to him was the very first phone call when he told me price and wanted money. And 2 week later when he wanted the other half of money. I left numerous phone calls to his office and left messages with his secretary and not 1 and I mean not 1 phone call was returned . Out of the 6 times I had to show up for court he showed only twice. My case was drop for no appearance by the other person nothing to do with the lawyer. So I just basically paid Matthew wells to ignore my calls, not show up to court date and not even send the video evidence to the prosecutor. So they would see what really happened. So please don't waste your time or money with this law firm they will rip you off.

Mr. Allen never contacted my ex wife's legal representative to negotiate anything on my behalf (confirmed) I worked out all the details, then at the arraignment he started "negotiating" so he could charge more(confirmed). The process took 25 minutes his "negotiation" took 3 hours. That tactic resulted additional money for her legal fees. There are reviews that say he's biased to the women. Based on his "negotiating" I would say is very true. The women seem to think he's great in their reviews, but they're creepy and unprofessional innuendos. He also tried to convince me it was better for the state to garnish my wages. I'm guessing he makes a percentage(unconfirmed). He stretched and wrung out every possible cent he could from me. I never felt as though he had my best interest. Janie his paralegal is extremely blunt with a sharp attitude. She makes you feel like you're some sort of troublesome chore. I wanted to fire him but then I would have to pay some other retainer fee. It was 14000 altogether. My wife spent 2500. She won. You tell me. Shop around this guy is not in it for you.
