My nephew, Gregory Mosley, Jr., his friend and mother drove from Maryland to Amherst, Virginia. Richard Sales is the brother of Lelia Christian so she recommended him to us. We were very happy to have Richard help us. That was the easiest decision we had to make. Richard came to meet us and discussed everything with us. He got my brother's body from the hospital and brought it to your funeral home where we went Sunday, August 15th to view my brother Gregory's body. I felt a sense of peace when I saw my brother's body. He looked like he was just sleeping, and that comforted me. My mother was devastated, but because my brother looked like he was sleeping, and not the way he looked at the hospital, she was able to deal with his death. Richard continually kept in touch with us throughout the process. We paid in full for Gregory's final expenses, and Richard gave us copies of the documents and got the information needed for the memorial program and all the required legal documents. Just having him be a part of all this for us was comforting and not at all stressful. His demeanor is incredible, and it helped to calm our nerves throughout this process. The urns are beautiful. The blankets are beautiful. I have worked with funeral homes in the past. One of our family members has a funeral home in Mobile, Alabama. We were definitely impressed with everything. I cannot tell you how much his assistance meant to me and my family. I would definitely recommend Richard Sales and your funeral home to anyone we know in the Virginia area. Thank you so much again from the bottom of my heart for everything. We are still singing Richard Sales' praises to our family and friends.
