The can of insecticide we used was ineffective, and only about four hornets were killed. To resolve the issue, we contacted three exterminator companies through Yelp. One company didn't respond, another responded with an automated message, and Jamie, the owner of Howard's Pest Control in Galax, provided a genuine response. We communicated with Jamie via Yelp and by phone within minutes. He provided an estimate and scheduled an appointment. Jamie arrived at the scheduled time, was professional, friendly, polite, and honest. He safely treated and removed the hornet's nest and a small wasp nest. He also checked the perimeter for any additional nests and inspected the attic for rodents. Jamie's service was exceptional, and I highly recommend Howard's Pest Control.

They spray under the entire soffit around the house, all window frames and door frames. They leave 3 mice bait stations outside in the bushes. I called yesterday about a yellow jacket nest in the yard that attacked the man who mows our yard. Todd, the owner, was here at 8 AM today.
