Also has a speedskating, curling, and hockey league spaces. They have freestyle sessions for pairs, dance, singles, and other training sessions for learn-to-skate and hockey sessions. Plenty of locker rooms. I didn't see if they had a gym , ballet or dance space for off-ice. Kids were mostly doing it outside. They also hosted some training camps here for USFSA. The kids loved it, ran around and enjoyed the site. $10 parking for events, I believe.

We got there a little before adult night started at 9pm, they keep the lights on until 9 pm, then it's dark and it made the lights so much more vivid. It was not busy, so for people who are new or maybe not comfortable, that is a good time to go because it lets you practice with not a lot of people around. But there are people who you can tell love skating and this is the perfect night for them to show of thier moves. They do shut down the food and drink section at 9 pm, so don't come hungry. Also, they do not sell alcohol, which might be obvious, but some adults thought maybe they would for adult night and they do not. This was a total throw back, I grew up coming to this skate city, and im happy it's still open.

A group of six of us went on a Sunday afternoon, and it was crowded, but we didn't have to wait long to get our skates. The way it works is that the ice skating rink is free, but you have to pay to rent skates. If you own your own skates, then, the experience is completely free! To rent skates, you wait outside in front of a little booth and get a wrist and then go to the window next to that one and say which size you'd like. Despite the rink being crowded, the wait for skates was very short. Service was friendly and efficient. The skates weren't the highest quality, and they use ski boot like buckles rather than laces, but I can't complain given the convenience and price. The ice rink gets smoothed over/cleaned using a Zamboni every so often, and when that happens, you can stand by fire pit stands (I'm not sure what they're called?) or sit on the benches right outside the rink. We stayed for about an hour and a half to two hours and had a good time. This is a great activity for families and friends alike!
