There wasn't much parking at the meters right out front but I found a spot on a nearby residential street. I had two pastries at the market which were both SO tasty, and it was fun to walk around! I didn't really see much by way of like handmade souvenirs etc but there was still a lot to look at! Everyone was really friendly and the weather was lovely that day in early September. Food trucks, baked goods, fruit and vegetables, boiled peanuts, clothing and accessories, plus much more. When we arrived we passed the grill cheese and crepes trucks. We had not had breakfast so our plan was to eat there. Our mistake was not stopping there first or midway of our shopping. We were pretty stared by the time we got back. Our first stop was the French Cheese Booth. We love cheese! The gentleman was very knowledgeable and gave us samples to help us decide what to buy. There was another cheese booth on the backside that we will have to try. Purchase a bird book from Joe to learn about our mountain birds. Talk with Laura @ Cookies and Beyond about how she has conquered the high altitude baking. It is quite challenging here. Last stop was at the Grilled cheese truck. Found a picnic table and yes it was so good! Everyone was so friendly. We will definitely be back. It's a great way to spend outdoors with your family.

I went for the first time last week, and it was disappointing. First- there were only 2 stands with actual fresh fruit and vegetables. There were about 4 stands with baked items, and a few other stands (about 6) with homemade small business items such as dried pasta, tamales, jams, homemade dog treats, organic meat, etc. However a good 85% of the stands were merchandise and advertisement items. It was just not what I expected. For a farmer's market I expected a lot more fresh fruit and veggie stands that are locally grown by the sellers. 1 of the 2 stands admitted they bought the fruits and veggies to sell at the farmer's market, and did not actually grow the items themselves. And the prices were triple what they are in the stores for organic items. Maybe this is what people think Farmer's Markets need to be, but this is not my experience when I have visited other markets. Disappointed and not going back.

NOT to mention, the property is an eye sore and in a residential area. How much was paid to the county to accept the plan filed? Bet the plan filed did not include all the JUNK stored there. SAVE your money, go shop somewhere honest. ASK for a receipt......bet you don't get one....cause they don't pay taxes. The whole place is a SHAM. They didn't put in the right well for water.....they cheaped out and got reported....so they used the water from the adjacent property for FREE, until it was cut off. What great business manager you got there. SHAM AND SCAM. AND the traffic and trash! Speeders, parking on private property, throwing trash all over the streets. And the commercial trucks, using driveways as turn arounds.......how inconsiderate.....Wow, this place sure does not treat it's residential neighbors well at all.
