You can get the SAME produce in the supermarket which SMITH FARMS supplies. You are being dupped people. The items for sale are from a LARGER Farm who supplies commercial retailer. NOT to mention, the property is an eye sore and in a residential area. How much was paid to the county to accept the plan filed? Bet the plan filed did not include all the JUNK stored there. SAVE your money, go shop somewhere honest. ASK for a receipt......bet you don't get one....cause they don't pay taxes. The whole place is a SHAM. They didn't put in the right well for water.....they cheaped out and got reported....so they used the water from the adjacent property for FREE, until it was cut off. What great business manager you got there. SHAM AND SCAM. AND the traffic and trash! Speeders, parking on private property, throwing trash all over the streets. And the commercial trucks, using driveways as turn arounds.......how inconsiderate.....Wow, this place sure does not treat it's residential neighbors well at all. read more

I have been to this place twice and have been extremely happy with the freshness and quality of what I purchased. Their Palisade peaches are the best that I've found. I like that they have local things like Pueblo chili items and also lots of fun jars of salsa, fruit, fruit butters, etc. I got some fun Colorado gifts of these items for family members who really enjoyed them earlier this summer. Today I found incredible deals on fresh blueberries and strawberries that look so much better than what you can get in the grocery store. I also appreciate that they have Pappardelle pasta. Today I bought some pasta and fresh grape tomatoes to make our favorite Moonblush pasta dish. I felt the prices were reasonable today and I appreciate the wide variety and friendly service. read more

Was eagerly anticipating this opening as I've heard about their watermelons. Never dawned on me to get a receipt. Cut into the Mellon and it was over ripe mush. Also had some disturbing white membranes running through. Wanted to take it back, but alas, no receipt. That's $8.00 in the compost pile. I am shocked at the low rating in previous reviews! My parents and best friend live in Falcon and always visit Smith's. We were out there yesterday, so we decided to stop by.they had a lot of pumpkins ready! They had a pretty decent selection of produce. I walked away withblack plums (which as so delicious), a canary melon, red bell peppers, and some salt water taffy. The bell peppers are so fragrant and I cannot wait to cook with them. They had some interesting flavors of taffy, including pickle! I was a little shocked at how expensive their cheese curds were. I love cheese curds, but I wasn't about to pay $8-$9 for them. The employees were friendly and asked us if we were finding everything ok. Overall I was impressed with them and will be back in the future! read more

I can't believe we just learned about this farm. They have wonderful Colorado made and grown products. My kids were treated very well by the staff and everything was much more reasonable than a grocery store. The products were WAY better, too. We have a local farmers market down the road from us, but we never find any produce, it's always crafts and baked goods. Much of this produce comes from Colorado. Good for them for finding alternatives for other produce people like to get without having to travel to big box store to find it (I thought people were about saving gas and stuff?) They also have Colorado baked breads, pastas, ciders, pie cherries (yes, from Utah, but not canned in metal), honey. It's worth checking out. Side note: The reviewer below suggesting the owner doesn't pay taxes has never run a business before nor studied any of the Colorado tax codes and employment practices. (Update: Blue Von B. contacted me and thinks I'm a friend of whomever runs this farm. Clearly this reviewer has a grudge). read more

What a fantastic market. All the vegetables were fresh as if they were just picked this morning. They had apples, peppers, pumpkins, gourds, strawberries, blackberries, honey, pasta, vanilla, salsa, apple cider, cookies, root beer, flavored tortillas, FRESHLY roasted chiles, and so much more. I can't wait to go back for their Halloween setup next weekend. I will be back once a week while they are open until the end of October. read more

Smith Farmer's Market must have wonderful owners. Employees return every summer from far and wide to work there during the market season. I decided to make the 36 mile round trip 3 weeks ago and returned each week. It is for the flavors. Robust Roma tomatoes, 4 kinds of sweet sweet melons(not watermelon Yet) the piquino hot peppers, and a secrete ....the 2 -2 1/2" multi colored Chinese sweet pepper's! Fabulous discovery for just about anyones imagination. The folks who work here are in love with their jib and want to assist anyway. It is a pleasure to visit and smell the air of a true farmers market. read more

This is a 26 mile round trip for me. I go because I like their cucumbers, but everything else is really pricey. I can get items in the grocery store for less and not spend all that time on the road and mileage on my car. What did it for me today is the price of 1 cucumber is now $1.50 each, when they used to be a dollar a piece. The kid ringing me up said the owner decided to raise the price because they are so popular and everyone wants them. I won't be driving out there anymore, needless to say if this is how they do business. I get prices are going up every where you go, but it isn't worth that far for me to go to not get a deal. read more

My three children and I stopped in because we drove by on some other errands and it looked cute. The kids picked some pumpkins and also some caramel apples. It was cramped and disorganized. The staff were so rude! They were so put out by us, and I'm not sure why. We did not wear masks because it's an outdoor market and every guideline I've seen says that outdoor activities don't require masks. I saw no signage that said masks were required. We weren't the only patrons without masks. Maybe that's why they were so incredibly rude..? It was so bad that even my children pointed it out when we got in the car (and kids never notice that stuff!) I regret spending my money there. read more

I was upset to see a sign at the entrance saying "No Pets"... really? This is an outdoor farm stand. Why no pets? I will probably never go back there, even though they had a nice selection of fruits and vegetables. read more
