When you enter there is a little bar on the left, the ticket counter is at the back, and the bathrooms are to you right. Before our showing it was pretty crowded so we didn't get to see the actors perform some lively music in the lobby before entering the stage, but we did hear them which is still good. Our seats were on the left balcony which isn't bad but it's not the best. I think the floor seats looked much better (the view and the comfort). Seats are tightly packed and expect to get up a few times if people need to go to the bathroom and/or get in/out of their seats. The show was wonderful! Very well done and I have no complaints except that the main actor kept losing his Irish accent! I'd come back to see another show.

The comedian, Diane Smith, described it as having a medieval feel theatre where a lion could come out to battle till death. Haha so true because of its rich history and character! I've had the pleasure of performing here at their annual Sketch Festival. Alain and Mark run the place, and they treat their performers like performers are supposed to be treated. Which is, incidentally, very good. By consequence of performing here, I've also been able to catch a few of the shows they put on, including original bilingual productions, and weekly improv nights. Very disappointing in their lack of care for attendees with accessibility concerns…read more We bought tickets for our first show at the Wiggle room and arrived before the doors opened because my wife had busted her ankle the day before and was on crutches for the first time in her life. I dropper her off at the door because she couldn't go far on the crutches. This was super stressful because there was nowhere to safely pull over and she had to get out on the street side and try to navigate the traffic on her crutches. After I helped her get to the door, I left her there while I went to park the van we were driving. It's an unusually large accessibility van. So I quickly discovered I was too tall for any parking garage and too big for any street parking. There was apparently also a large event going on and it was crazy trying to find parking. I spent over an hour trying to find a place to park and couldn't find a place anywhere. During this time my wife kept calling and was in tears because of the steep stairs in the building. She said people offered to carry her up the stairs but it scared her too much. She tried calling the listed phone number to get some advice but no one answered the phone or returned her voicemail. After more than an hour of trying to find a way to make it work we gave up because it was so stressful on both of us. We called and emailed and asked for a refund given the circumstances but they never bothered to even respond in any way. I understand their are limitations to what they can do for customers with accessibility needs, but at least showing that you have some empathy would leave customers not feeling totally ignored.

The Long Version: I was trying to find the Yelp listing for Cirque du Soleil in general, as many listings are of specific shows at specific locations. I think I've found the general listing here (in the city where it is headquartered). I've been to 3 Cirque du Soleil shows so far. My first was Volta, then Echo, and mostly recently Luzia. All have been fantastic. I'm in awe of the athletic prowess of the performers. Like these guys are balancing on one arm while dozens of feet in the air. There are days when I can't even balance on 2 legs on the ground, haha. They juggle, climbs poles, and literally jump through hoops. The acrobatics are sometimes done on moving platforms and on one show even on bicycles. The lighting, sound and props are so good as well. Every show has a contortionist, who freaks me out. I can never watch the entire contortion feature, I have to close my eyes or look away because I find it too creepy, lol. While the show is amazing, be prepared for tiny uncomfortable seats. I get it, the set up is portable and they also want to pack in as many people as possible to make the largest profit possible, but just be advised. You are literally up against and touching your seatmate the entire show, if you and/or they are an average-sized adult. If you're tiny like me and sit next to say a kid or another small adult, you may be spared of such close contact. The main tent is where the show is, but they have other connected tents where you can buy concessions and souvenirs. There are fun places set up to take selfies/pictures. There's also a VIP tent that VIP ticket holders can access. There's free (well, included in the price of your VIP ticket) food and drinks, and the port-a-potties there are more luxurious (yeah, never thought I'd ever describe port-a-potties as luxurious, but they flush and there's a sink and soap and they are relatively spacious). The VIP tickets are pricey but my husband won some VIP tickets through a contest with the Lac Leamy Casino, so that's how we got to have this fancy experience. All staff in the VIP tent were so courteous and helpful. Oh, with VIP tickets you also recieve a Cirque du Soleil branded souvenir. It's pretty cool how Cirque du Soleil essentially started out as buskers in the small town of Baie-Saint-Paul, QC in the 1980s and now has grown into a multi-million dollar company with shows that tour internationally. I've been battling with suicidal thoughts and multiple mental illnesses for years. Prior discovering pole, I didn't see any value in life. To my surprise, for the first time in a very long time, I felt happy. All the dark thoughts disappeared, and I was mesmerized by my instructor's skills.
