When we decided to move our business liability policy to Clapper we supplied all requested material to bind coverage. About a week later, while out of town on a business trip, we received an email request a document be signed and returned immediately to maintain coverage. Two days after receiving our first bill in the mail Rodney emailed us a notice of cancellation for failure to pay, he copied our landlord in this email as well; even if we mailed a check for payment the moment we received the statement they would not have received payment before he emailed us this notice. We canceled our policy over 2 months ago, and are expecting a refund of over $1,000 for pro-rated money which we still have not received.

We were underinsured and decided to go to Homesite with Progressive. We have our auto with progressive and we save. Allstate was very rude and I asked Paul several times about cancellation letter and a refund. Paul informed me that Allstate has a 7 day refund policy rule. And since I did not want to speak to him on phone he would not email me again about the process and to call his staff. It should not take half a day and several phone calls with Allstate to get this information. Allstate is ranked as having the highest complaints. Paul's no exception! It took several calls to get our cancellation letter by email. There are websites you can pay $14.95 to cancel Allstate Insurance. So you don't have to deal with agents that have a bad reputation for canceling. We know how much our refund is. You think we would have gotten follow up confirmation from Allstate but we never did. If the refund amount doesn't match up with what our mortgage company told my husband, my husband will take it up with Paul Como.
