This placed started running test and helping my dog before they even received the paper to surrender him and I was told when I asked about the part of them actually helping him only if I surrender him part that if they save him he will be adopted. Mind u I was told basically from humane society that they too were told who informed me that if I didn't surrender my dog free of charge because I don't have the money to get him test to see what's wrong or to help him I would be investigated and prosecuted by humane society for neglect because they also the day before tricked me to sighing a paper to get him released from them the day before due to no money and they stated to the humane society that I refused service against they recommendations when in actually they refused to help my dog because I didn't have the money. These people were going to let me think my dog was dead when in actually they saved him and now will be adopting him out when I know they already knew what was wrong with him and tricked me into sighing him over . They took advantage of me not having money and my dog suffering. I will be seeking legal help with this because yall lied to and played a game with the wrong pet mom this is far from over I'll never let this go we love you Kane mommy will handle this

They have a thrift shop that you can donate to, that any proceeds go to the care of the animals. My sister's new puppy is from this shelter and she is a great dog. She is very smart, loving, and gets along great with my sister's older dog.

She acted like we were an inconvenience in asking if there were any kittens available. She asked if we had ever been there before after staring at us. We told her no. She then took us back to where the kittens were. The facility is really gross. There was a pen with puppies and a bunch of poop everywhere. The smell was overwhelming. The kitten cage was sad. The kittens had worms! There were worms coming out of there mouth because they were eating them. We were so grossed out we stopped at a Burger King to wash up on the way home. They had prisoners working in there doing all the cleaning (or lack there of.) The ladies that I did see were just all gathered around chit chatting. I felt so BAD for the the dogs! They looked sick and depressed. I wanted to take them all home. I would NOT recommend getting a pet from this place. Maybe instead of everyone sitting around they should be walking these dogs and taking care of the animals in there. This place should be shut down. Sad sad sad!

Our cat disappeared awhile back and we went here to check if someone picked him up, the staff seemed genuinely concerned and gave us great tips to help find our missing cat. Very sweet and helpful people.
