Another one bites the dust. So here is a highly abbreviated version of that detailed fantastic review. Growing up in Texas everyone knew what you were talking about when you said Huntsville. No,it wasn't the charming and quaint small Texas Town but,the notorious prison within its city limits. Second: the food, I ordered taco's and they brought me a peanut butter sandwich. I tried to send it back and the waiter was defiantly not trained in customer service. He tossed my peasant sandwich on the floor and told me to deal with it. I asked to speak to the manager, and he said......sure inmate.....wait right here. I waited......he never came. I am wondering if he was being sarcastic ? I watched as ants ate my supposed to be a taco, peanut butter sandwich. I'm defiantly not leaving a tip for these guys. Third: the roommate is very weird. He was drunk (fun) when he arrived and now he's sober (boring). I asked him where he got the beer but, he won't tell me, I think I must be a secret password at this establishment. I am considering tickling him until he tells me, or craps his pants. Fourth: These clothes that they provide are not up to my standards. First on all, who wears orange? This goes with nothing that I own, and does nothing for my attractiveness. No lady is going to see me in this outfit and go.....OOOOOH MY.......That handsome man looks so good in CARROT !!!

As far as the federal detention center in Houston goes I can safely say if your going to go to jail in the Houston area its probably the best one to go to, LOL. The staff seem to be a little more professional than the others I've been to, the facility is a little cleaner, and the security seems to be significantly greater. Montgomery County is no longer a small county so the historic courthouse is something more out of…read morethe smaller counties around the state (as Monty used to be) rather than the lumbering giant of now-more-than-just-a-bedroom-community to our immediate north that has wooed big munny Exxxon and other megacorps to headquarter their ops here in this county. Even though the official address is on N. Main you actually can't enter on that side, it's an exit only. Better signage might help out the situation guiding people around to the other side where you actually can enter. It's a historic courthouse so that will tell you about the general milieu. There are steps to get in so if you are with a guest that is in a stroller or wheelchair you need to pick up them and their accompanying apparatus step by step. Last time I was in court here the family in front of me was figuring out a stroller for a wee baby Seamus and a wheelchair for an elderly person possibly named Mallory given the extensive amount of profanity I heard. They looked entirely frustrated with the steps only situation. The lobby inside is tiny since it wasn't designed the way the more modern courthouses were where you could just stand out chatting on your celly with ya girlfriend and snapchatting or whatever else the children are doing these days with their iPhone 99+s. There is enough room to get through security and to get out of the way. If you are meeting someone here you should probably meet them outside the building if they don't know where they are going, or meet them at the front door to your specific court once you get upstairs. The courts (at least two, possibly more) got shuffled since the last time I was here. The specific one I was in was moved around the building but the signs were still in place ALL over the place pointing me to the old location. So I was a bit surprised to find the old signs were wrong and FILTHY LIARS. That was not the court I was supposed to be in. Update yo signage, girlfriend. There is free parking nearby so while it's more than an hour in your automocar from downtown Houston and you are burning up gas and your patience slowly inching north on 45 at least you don't need to take out a third mortgage to pay for daily parking unlike what my life is like on days in Harris County.

Took 2 days to get booked for a charge that had no probable cause (meaning there was no reason to…read morearrest me.) and was treated like less than human. i understand that it's jail but how all inmates there were treated is inhumane and guards should NOT be worshiped for making an inmates life (that is already hard) harder. shame on all of harris county. i hope you all rot in the depths where you belong. also worth noting that the charges that were brought against me were dropped within minutes of being in the courtroom due to there being no cause to make my arrest to begin with.
