The facility is in EXCELLENT, CLEAN condition. Each room full of natural light and is stocked with many fun and interesting activities and Montessori works. My daughter made several friends there. The owner, Dana, is truly a kind and caring person. She handled some Covid situations, which were unavoidable in any business, with extreme tact and professionalism. She showed clear consideration for all students, parents and teachers. I brought my concerns to her and she listened patiently and responded fairly. I had to make sure and leave a review after seeing that one disgruntled person has made an attempt to disparage Dana-- and for some reason Yelp considers that review the only valid one. I hope that anyone looking into Cornerstone will go visit and see for themselves what a great place it is.

We truly have nothing but positive things to say about the Director, Dana Brannon, and the teaching staff in ALL classrooms. We transitioned from another Montessori in Omaha about 2 years ago; were welcomed with open arms and could not believe all of the things we were missing from the Montessori curriculum in our last program. Dana and Team really pride themselves on teaching our little humans to be the best versions of themselves all while grounding their work in the foundations of Maria Montessori and helping our community/friends around us. After that, we were lucky enough to come across Montessori Academy of West Omaha. First and foremost, I have always felt as though each individual family is treated not only as family (as cliche as that sounds,) but the school understands each family's unique wants and needs. I am a teacher and wanted my kids home with me over the summer months, this is one of the only Montessori schools in Omaha that not only allows that, but encourages it because "what's best for your family is best for us!" even though that translates to a loss in tuition for the school. I have never once thought of Montessori Academy of West Omaha as a school that only sees my kids as a tuition bill, which I cannot say the same for the other school we attended. This school truly embodies the Montessori philosophy of "follow the child." Our daughter looks forward to school, her friends, and being challenged where she is at individually. The small class sizes at Montessori Academy of West Omaha allow for my daughter to receive direct, specialized instruction. We all know kids are not the same, not all kids are interested in the same things, this school has proven they can nurture each child in growing academically, socially, and emotionally. With my experience in Montessori for the past 10 years, trust me when I say, you will NOT be disappointed in sending your child(ren) to this one-of-a-kind preschool.

On the third day my husband went to pick him up and found my son running around out in the parking lot, unsupervised. When we demanded an explanation, the director would not accept any responsiblity for it. She said that it was my son's fault, he should have known better. She also said that we must have discipline issues at our house if my child doesn't know better that to exit the building without an adult. HELLO LADY...he's 2. How can she possibly think that a 2 year old can be responsible for decisions like this, if that were the case I wouldn't being paying someone to take care of him! The director is truly a fake and CRAZY!! Don't let this place stereotype all Montessori's, my boys are now at a true, accredited Montessori that has an awesome reputation and we LOVE it!!

My daughter attended here as well, and she absolutely developed amazing skills so quickly! Every evening I was so impressed with what she had learned that day. Kids hands (even babies!) get washed frequently, the rooms and toys are cleaned and sanitized every night, and tables are cleaned after every meal, laundry is done everyday, which I have not seen many other daycares/learning centers do. The best place for your child to be while you're working, and truly the best job I have ever had!! I honestly can't rave about La petite enough, highly recommend to anyone who needs care for their little one or who needs a job with an incredible staff who makes you feel like family.

I'm allergic to carrots and lactose intolerant, so you know what I had to eat? Nothing, I hope they've improved their service and I transferred to different day care 4 days later.
