He asked what we needed, and he gave us a really fair quote. We hired them, and they fit us in pretty quickly. They came out when they said they would. These guys worked their butts off. I wish I had taken before pictures. It was dark and late when they finished. We walked the property together. William and his crew wanted the job to look excellent and wanted us to be happy. Just look at the pictures. They did an outstanding job. I would hire them again. They were all very courteous and friendly. Very professional. Took pride in the work. In this day and age, where people don't want to work, I don't know how they found such good workers. I highly recommend them for anything you need done.

What should have been a straightforward roofing job turned into a frustrating experience that…read morelasted the entire summer. The work took far too long to complete, and the quality of the workmanship was very poor. There are issues that still need to be corrected, and despite requesting that the company come back and address these problems, they have failed to do so. I am extremely disappointed with both the quality of the work and the lack of follow-through after the job was completed. A roofing company should take pride in its workmanship, stand behind its work, and make things right when problems arise. Unfortunately, that has not been my experience. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this company. I expected professional service and quality workmanship, and neither met my expectations.

Amazing Work!!!! My wife and I had major construction on our…read morehouse in Winter Park over the past two years. When the work was finally completed, we were left with no grass, no flowers and no plants - pretty much a barren wasteland that looked horrible. As we put the word out to landscape designers, we started to get contacted by several companies wanting to quote the work. Steve from S & L was the first to respond. He was punctual and professional at the estimate appointment, COMPLETELY understood the assignment as we described what we wanted and provided a very reasonable quote for the work we requested (he even provided us with a thorough sketch of our vision the very next day!) This was a marked difference from the other companies - some wanted to charge us just for their plan (!), some had to be chased down for a follow up, some missed their scheduled appointments and others were ridiculously high with their estimates. Throughout the planting/installation process, Steve and his team were in constant communication with us, asking us to check their progress as we moved forward so that we were all on the same page (even offering GREAT suggestions). My wife and I could not be happier with the results. We have a beautiful lawn of new sod, several beds of native Florida plants and trees and dramatic uplighting that makes our home look like it was photographed by House and Garden. We honestly couldn't recommend Steve and his team enough. We're VERY happy customers!

I am writing to share a warning regarding our recent experience with S & L Landscape Diversified in…read moreFlorida, owned by Steve Nease. Our project was significantly overcharged, including instances of double billing. The company used low-quality materials that did not match what was agreed upon: the sod was low-grade and brown, the Agave plants were frostbitten and rotten, and no weed-prevention matting was installed, leading to immediate weed growth. The final result is worse than our original garden, and we now have to hire another contractor to fix the damage. Additionally, because Steve failed to pay his suppliers, the sod company has placed a lien on our home. Please exercise extreme caution if you are considering working with this contractor. They are unprofessional, rely heavily on subcontractors, and mislead customers regarding the quality of their work. We fully agree with the negative experiences previously shared by others, such as Jessica H., Alex K. they did the same things again used materials off of their old job. We wish we had seen those warnings prior to hiring this company. We are sharing our experience to help protect others from these dishonest practices.
