These people weren't. They were fully engaged and 100% service-oriented the moment we walked in. One of the things I truly appreciated was that there were no surprises. They quoted us prices that were even better than the larger stores, and they delivered at that price. No nickel-and-diming. Their selection was impressive, and the stone we selected is absolutely beautiful. Everyone, from the salesman to the installation team, was extremely personable, pleasant, and professional. The installers renewed my faith in American craftsmanship. They took all day on the installation and didn't leave until everything was perfect. There are two seams in the counter, and we had to know exactly where to look -- and look very hard -- to notice them at all. I love it when I can patronize a local business and get a better price than from a national chain. These people are the real deal. I encourage everyone in the Helena area to at least give them a look if you plan on getting countertops.

A salesman was not available so I talked to another individual. He took down all of the information and put my name on a remnant slab. I waited a week and no call. I stopped by again and the receptionist took down my name and said a salesman would get back with me. No call. I call again and get transferred to the salesman who says he never got either of the messages. He takes down my information and says he'll get me a quote and look at the slab because I'm not sure what I picked and I'm not choosy because this is for the laundry room. He also schedules me for July. A month goes by and I still have not received the quote and the schedule date is in about 2 weeks. I leave a message on his cell phone and finally get the quote for $1,000 for a small remnant slab installed in the laundry room. I call to discuss the quote and end up leaving another message. No call back. The receptionist calls to verify the appointment for template. I explain to her the situation and that I am not happy. She says "so do you want me to take you off of the schedule?" Hah! I wasted 2 months screwing around with Silver City. If this is how they treat a repeat customer, I fear for new customers. Maybe my job just wasn't big enough to get any attention.
