Mistakes can happen and they certainly did for our son's wedding when a trailer full of banged up,…read morefilthy chairs arrived to our venue. Our crew of helpers got right to work and literally cleaned all the chairs (because what else are you gonna do with hours to go until the wedding), as I called to express my dismay about the condition of the chairs-- come to find out they were the wrong ones--the drivers took the wrong trailer. So add another hour by our helpers, to hustle and get the chairs back on the trailer and then wait an additional hour for the crew to return with the correct ones. While the correct ones weren't filty, they did need dusting. Thankfully with our sweat equity, the correct chairs were placed in time for the wedding. However, to add insult to injury, when I asked for a discount on these very expensive chairs given the debacle, the manager informed me "they did nothing wrong" and "got us the chairs in time". His offer to reduce our $960 chair order by $50 was a joke. Cannot recommend a company that doesn't own their errors and make things right for their customers--especially when it comes to momentous occasions like a wedding. The tone, defensiveness and general lack of concern for our experience over the phone made me twice as unhappy --and that was no mistake.

So when we built a new home, of course we reached out to Josh and his staff for our Home audio/video needs which included a home theater system. I had also read a previous YELP review which made me a little nervous and I discussed that with Josh the owner. He addressed each point the previous dissatisfied customer mentioned and being a small business owner my self, I believed his responses. I am glad we discussed things and the scope of our job. They met or exceeded our expectations in every aspect of the job and finished on budget and even more important, on time. We have had zero issues with the job and the owner has reached out on multiple occasions to see if everything was still performing as promised and to see if I had any questions or concerns. I subsequently referred them to a friend and they came thru with flying colors on their home theater system as well. Tremendous communication, customer service and fair pricing. I would highly recommend A Better Sound for all home audio/video needs.
