I have no idea how much "extra" we spent but we didn't have to wait hours, we didn't have to battle bureaucracy, and we left with a license plate in hand. Couldn't figure how that was "Free Pickup" so I had to visit the UPS Store. This was a quick and easy process! The shipping was obviously free from Amazon so that was a good deal. I still don't know why the driver didn't just take the package but the visit to the store was not an issue, easy as 1,2,3!

The most respectful, helpful, and kind young employees in all of Monroeville!…read more I'm not quite sure how this location has a pipeline of amazing employees but corporate UPS may want to hire this local manager as their recruiter regionally. Always happy to greet you! They drop whatever side tasks they are accomplishing (which is a revelation in businesses already.. they aren't just playing on their phones between customers) to open up all three registers and move through the line as quick as possible. UPS prices are generally better for packages but even if they weren't.. it would have to be quite a difference to want to go deal with the other places!

If you need fingerprinting for a job or volunteer position in the Monroeville area, this is likely…read moregoing to be your go to location. I highly suggest that you make an appointment instead of coming in as a walk in. Just because you have an appointment doesn't mean that you will actually be taken at your appointment time, but you will be taken ahead of any walk ins (regardless of how long they are waiting). The was the one down side to my experience here. I had a 10:30 appointment. I arrived a few minutes early, and there were three or so people ahead of me waiting to check in. When someone came to check us in, they did ask who had an appointment and two of the three of us did, so they checked us in before the person without an appointment. They were busy, so I was taken back about ten minutes after my scheduled appointment. As long as you come with the appropriate documentation for your requested service, the fingerprinting is digital and fairly quick. They don't send or receive any results at this location (and, unfortunately, can't answer questions on status if you have them). Your results are mailed and emailed after your appointment. They told me it could take up to a month, but mine were sent in about a week. You can also schedule an appointment for TSA precheck requirements here, but I don't have personal experience with that service.

With as much traveling as I had been doing recently I decided it was time to register myself for…read moreTSA Precheck. Getting started is easy, it's the follow up that is horrible. Starting out it is all online. It goes fairly quickly and then you are kind of on your own. They tell you of nearby offices that will assist you with completing the precheck, but it kind of goes a bit haywire for the person and can be overwhelming. First, the location of this one that is located in Monroeville is so odd. Literally they tell you on the website that it is in the plaza next to Elmer's. That's fine and dandy, but that plaza has several businesses. Honestly, you would not know to come in here as the outside of the building is unmarked and adjoined to a Farmer's Insurance office. In fact, they are technically two different addresses with two different doors, but when you go inside it is all one shared space. Second, when you go inside there is no one at the reception desk. You just go in with hardly any direction and kind of figure out what to do. The whole time I was here, I didn't see anyone approach that reception desk and was worried that I wasn't going to be seen. Somehow, by miracle of miracles, someone did come and get me. What is odd is that everything you answered online, you will have to answer again here. Like every single question. Instead of all that information transferring in and being able to make this a quicker visit. The employees can be a bit terse, so I think Nancy can sit down for a minute. Looks like you just came on here to write a review to offset what is reflected. Unlike Nancy, my appointment wasn't for the next day and I had a wait a few days to get an appointment as I have a life that doesn't revolve around typical business hours for an office. I did receive my TSA approval rather quickly. Faster than what they report on the website. I think they claim anywhere from five to ten business days. I had it by the end of the week that I had my appointment.

I went to her office thinking I had all the necessary papers, and then discovered I was missing the title. While I searched for it in the glove box (spoiler: it wasn't in there), she went to my former state's DMV site and started filling out the request for a duplicate title "just in case." She printed it out for me and gave me excellent advice on what to do while I was waiting to get the duplicate titled mailed to me. Her excellent service continued when I was finally able to return with all the needed documents in hand, plus the cash payment. For all PennDOT transactions, it's cash only. She even lent me a screwdriver to put my PA plate on the car immediately. As Notary Now Plus is a one-person operation, you may need to wait. There is a small waiting area, with no TV or Muzak blaring. Soft drinks are available at a reasonable price; she also stocks envelopes of various sizes, which is a thoughtful touch and again, very reasonably priced. Barbara's very professional and also empathetic. I was actually looking forward to my second trip, to complete the transaction. Compared to other estimates I received for the service, her fee is very reasonable, and her exceptional customer service adds even more value. I can't imagine any other business outdoing Notary Now Plus for service and value.
