She said I needed to call the manufacturer and so I explained that the manufacturer directed me to them and that they told me what the problem likely was. She again interrupted me to say she could send someone out but there would be a service fee and it would take a month. Because I said that, they agreed to do my door as these 75yo doors can take cosmetic damage to remove the pane. Again, the glazer arrived on time. The end result, which he was proud of, was a tiny hole and a tiny crack ( easily filled with wood caulk if I cared). It was great! He was done quickly and I can't thank them more. Likewise with my SIL. But hey, cardboard and duct tape was more energy efficient during those really frigid days!
