From the custodian staff to the doctors people where efficient, professional, personal able and just nice. Small, modern, well staffed, well equipped facility. This was a god send. A frightening experience turned into a good memory. I totally recommend it.

Predatory facility - I went into urgent care for a respiratory infection. It was my 4th respiratory…read moreinfection of the year. I am over 60, have multiple autoimmune disorders, and a 30 year historyof asthma. I am fully vaccinated and I simply needed anti-virals. My primary is booking out 2.5 months and just says to go to urgent care. So I did. They literally told me I didn't belong there and should see my primary. At which point I started to cry because I was running a fever approaching 103, and anti-virals only help if you start them as early as possible. I felt completely helpless and as if there was no where to turn. They became patronizing "now now dear, we'll do what we can to help you feel better".... When my Covid test (which I was charged $447 for) came back positive, I was told that I couldn't be prescribed Paxlovid for it because "it's contraindicated in patients on statins". I'm not on statins, never have been. I was then told it's only for older patients with comorbidities.... Had she even read my chart? I gave her my age and comorbidities and she said she would prescribe Paxlovid. I just got the bill. I was billed for an Emergency room visit NOT an urgent care visit..... I had a rather heated conversation with their billing department where I was told that Urgent Care and Emergency Care are in the same place and which one they bill for is determined by what treatment they decide you need. NOT by what you ask for when you walk in the door. At no point in time was I told that my visit, which I was told already was unnecessary, was an ER visit. Apparently that decision is left up to the doctors who don't want to treat you, haven't even bothered to read you chart, and attempt to send you away while refusing to provide even minimal standard CDC recommended treatment. Not the first time I've had issues with this facility plumping up their bill. I was in there when I first moved to the area for a simple surgery that is usually done under a local but they drugged me to the hilt then allowed a student to do the surgery without my permission or my knowledge. They then lied to me about it. In addition - be aware that this facility is a "rurally certified healthcare facility" which sounds all nice but what it means is that if you are on Medicare, they are allowed to bill Medicare, Medicare takes their discount and pays their 80%. The patient however, is then billed 20% of the original, undiscounted, bill which is often more than the amount that Medicare paid. Their billing department will NOT explain why and just repeats "I don't know why your bill is so high, we just bill what Medicare tells us to". Medicare also will not explain it to you even though you have a legal right to this information as it falls under the right to have understandable information so you can make reasonable healthcare decisions.... like, would you like to save $10,000 by driving 45 minutes to an urban facility? I learned this after months of trying to understand and I finally found a company that assists medical facilities in becoming rurally certified. They spelled it out plain and simple in one easy to under sentence. States that saw Medicaid expansion also saw a massive rise in new rurally certified facilities being built because the excess was billed to Medicaid and the state pays it vs billing patients on Medicare who are either seniors or the disabled, which resulted in unpaid bills or bankruptcy. Beware - This facility has predatory billing practices, especially if you are on Medicare or Medicaid. Now that Medicaid is being defunded, anyone with Medicare will be seeing massive bills. You can request an Urgent Care visit but even if they tell you to your face that they think that's unnecessary, they'll charge you as an Emergency Room visit AND attempt to provide no treatment at all.

First time reviewing a hospital, but let's at it! I came here to visit a patient who had suffered a…read moreheart attack, and was recouping on the cardiovascular specialty floor. First thing to note is that they do not charge for parking, despite the outdoor sign. You need to have your ticket validated before leaving though. The hospital is tranquil, clean and surprisingly quite. So quiet that it took awhile to find a concierge to address some questions about logistics. But once that was figured out, I was directed to the patient's room. It was spacious, with a couch and armchair for guests. The attached bathroom looked clean and most importantly: the patient was happy with his care! In the time staying in the room with the patient, I observed shift changes and various patient/provider interactions. Things seemed a bit muddled when a new nurse took over, but things smoothed out by the time I left. The cardio staff did a great job, and hopefully I will never see them again!

Had a large and efficient team in the OR during c-section. I felt well informed: Made certain I knew I had choices every step of the way. Made sure I knew why certain procedures or medications were recommended. I was going to give them 4 stars but they put it in my hands after having a bunch of serious medical issues did I think I was healthy enough to go home. I probably should have stayed in patient a few more days I wound up with serious issues the next 4 days and lingering troubles the next few weeks. Had some outstanding practitioners in the NICU, and some not so great. One nurse said we wouldn't be holding our babies one day, but they still needed to change them and burp them. She exclaimed they had troubles breathing in the night and it was because we had done something the day before. When the night nurse came on she said the babies hadn't struggled at all for her the previous night so she wasn't sure why the other nurse tried to keep us from holding the babies. I had already asked for the nurse who tried to prevent our babies from receiving our comfort to be removed from our care team. Another time a physical therapist informed me she wanted them to gavage/tube feed and not attempt to nurse when I was only attempting to nurse once or twice a day. The doctor and nurse case manager said i should be able to nurse this time nothing indicated i shouldn't. It was recommended we move up stairs "our babies were doing so well" and "they would have the same ratio of care givers & it would be as easy to access the doctors" The first night in the pediatric unit one of our preemies was in the 80's for oxygen saturation for the longest time. They told us they were going to put her back on the oxygen the doctor said it might be needed. When we returned in the morning her oxygen was still in the 80's and they hadn't put her on oxygen or contacted the doctor. When he made his rounds he asked how long she had been like that I said since last night, 12 hours prior & the staff had informed me they were going to put her back on oxygen. Nobody had . He had them place her on oxygen immediately. One nurse filled the baby bath to my preemie's chin. I told her that was dangerously high and she should take some out. She did not take any water out and she said different people do it differently. She wanted me to wash the baby & try to keep the head out of the dangerously full bath and she wasn't helping at all. Honestly the hospital was so understaffed and there were a handful of good nurses but the few incompetent ones make the entire experience overwhelmingly frustrating.

His time and demeanor was absurd and in a way like I was interrupting and bothering him. Didn't care what I was telling him about my concerns, so after I felt I was being insulted and judged, I told him thank you and hobbled out the doors!!
