Inside, it is bright and has a nice, new, modern feel to it, while the selection of shops is okay, the giant square featuring Grande Arche and the Westfield Les 4 Temps across the way, one of my favourite malls worldwide makes it better. CNIT stans for Centre of New Industries and Technologies, it was one of the first buildings in La Defense which are the business area of Paris, I like to think of it as a Parisian Canary Wharf. I did find the lifts a little confusing and difficult to navigate at first. I did find the loud construction noises throughout during the daytime to be offputting, I get they have to do it sometime and it can be difficult with a hotel, but it just felt a little uncomfortable. The place is weird overall from having offices to shops and hotels, it isn't' HUGE but is a decent size, perhaps they're doing too much? 3* - A really nice building featuring some useful locations from Nespresso to Monoprix, and even a Hilton in a nice part of the city but it's only the start of your La Defense journey. Weird place. Offices and retail businesses all tossed into one huge structure, right along with…read morebeing connected to the RER train station and the Metro subway station. They have free wifi, so the French employees don't even have to report to their offices to work. They just congregate at one of the coffee shops and then move to the next coffee shop where they can continue their social time - which by the way lasts until lunch when they go somewhere else to avoid their office. After a two hour lunch, they might just take the metro or train home, because they do have a grueling 30 hour work week to fake so that they can earn their 16 weeks vacation time. Thank god for socialism, because these overwrought employees only have to do this for 20 years before they get 100% pensions. Whew! what a relief. Here is a typical French employee, doing absolutely nothing - http://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/cnit-puteaux?select=KvOei8a9yRjFgyutlZ-xNg#8ZhT5eGOQO62p9545gRYfA All dressed up, but sitting on his ass for hours. Please notice the offices overhead - empty in the middle of the morning.

It is in my heart because it has everything I could ever want in such a small storefront. It has a salad bar with a wide variety of veggies and other goodies to create your favorite salad to take away. Plus, they have a solid produce section. They have a variety of dairy milk alternatives and they have quite the variety of yogurts, as far as what kind of milk you're looking for. For example, dairy, goat, sheep, low-fat, full-fat, with a particular fruit. They have so much more including non-food products such as toiletries and miscellaneous hardware stuff. Everyone is really friendly encouraging you to work on learning French.

The store is convenient since they do open early and close fairly late. They have plenty of things and since they have two floors of space you can find almost everything you need on your vacation. We bought from toothpaste, bread, jam, water, and much more. It was an easy checkout and we came back several times. Prices are good and the store is clean. If you are in the area this place is easy to shop in and you can pay cash or credit card.
