We travelled all the way from Australia to have our elopement at the La Quinta Resort and Spa. While researching for photographers we came across the Monocle Project's website and instantly fell in love with their style of photography. Plus all of their reviews were so complimentary! We knew straight away that we wanted Ryan and Jasmin to be the ones to capture our special day. From start to finish their communication was fabulous. Jasmin was able to answer all our questions and made us feel at ease, especially since we were planning our big day from across the globe! Jasmin took the time to answer every email with care and patience and was able to offer us expert advice on locations, timeline of photos etc. When the day finally arrived we had Ryan capture all our special moments. He was so much fun and made us feel very comfortable! It was like hanging out with an old friend and it made the whole experience very memorable rather than just another process of the day. Ryan went above and beyond to make sure our photos would be something really special. He even climbed some pretty scary heights to make sure we got some amazing shots! Ryan kindly went home that night and worked on providing us with a few sneak peek high quality photos to share with our family back home! When we received our final gallery of photos we were completely blown away with how amazing they were. Ryan really captured our personalities and the photos looked natural and non posed which is what we really wanted. The colours were amazing and it looked like our photos belonged in a magazine! We received so many compliments from family and friends back home on how brilliant the photos looked. We cannot recommend the Monocle Project enough and any couple, family, business that has the pleasure of working with Ryan and Jasmin will be truly happy with their service. Our company hired Monocle project to shoot our outdoor patio heaters installed at a very high profile Whole Foods outdoor patio in Palm Desert, California. This was a very important project for us since Whole Foods is a very reputable company with a gorgeous outdoor patio in Palm Desert. We were referred to Monocle project by very talented and well known photographer in the area. Jasmin and Ryan are incredibly talented photographers and are a pleasure to work with. I was very satisfied with the pricing for the shoot as well as the quality and creativity of the photos that they delivered. Having two photographers on location made the shoot take a lot less time than I have normally experienced when on other photo shoots. They were extremely easy to work with and captured every shot I required and even some that I couldn't think of myself creatively. They went above and beyond my expectations and even returned to the patio the next day to shoot the heaters in the night time in order to capture the glow of the heaters in the shot. The edited process went flawlessly. Jasmin and Ryan edited my photos within 2-3 days of shooting and I was blown away with the quality of the shots. They also provided the shots in High quality as well as web ready versions which I found to be a huge time saver. I don't usually write reviews but I was so happy with our photos I'm making the effort in this case! We are from out of town and decided to do family photos when vacationing for a change in scenery. Jasmin and Ryan were great and considerate for what they thought would work with our 2-1/2 year old. Being from out of town we looked to them for recommendations on locations and they offered us a number of great ideas that gave us the change in scenery we were looking for and it was hard to narrow down! In addition, our kiddo can be shy around new people but he took to Ryan quickly which was a HUGE bonus. Because he was comfortable with Ryan in our final image gallery we got a little of everything, family photos, maternity shots for #2 on the way, shots of just the kiddo, shots of mom and kiddo, and then some shots of just my husband and I. My only complaint is that there are so many good photos I can't narrow them down to chose which to put up at home!!! If we are back as a family for a holiday we will definitely be using them again and trying one of the other interesting locations they recommended! read more

My husband and I were looking for a portrait shoot to help celebrate our babymoon to Palm Springs. As maternity photography can error on rather cheesy sometimes, we were hoping to find someone with an artistic eye that would provide a more elevated aesthetic. So happy we found Jasmin and Ryan! Jasmin and Ryan graciously worked with our preferences to set-up the ideal location for us and even met us in Joshua Tree National Park for our session. They are an absolute pleasure to work with! They clearly love what the do and enjoy bouncing ideas off each other, which as an added bonus, provides two photographers with two perspectives for their clients. They are warm, professional, and clearly enthusiastic about getting "that perfect shot". I also appreciated their attention to detail, noting when hair or jewelry needed adjusting, and so on. Recently we were planning our 45th wedding anniversary with our children, grandchildren, and wanting a photographer that would meet our needs. We went to Palm Springs for a family vacation and decided to do photos since we are rarely all together. Ryan came and did an absolutely amazing job!
