I was in New York City for work and needed to catch the latest nonstop flight possible to Orlando…read moreso I could make it in time for race bib pickup Thursday morning at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex for the 2026 RunDisney Springtime Surprise Weekend. Looking at airport options in the NYC area, there was JFK, LaGuardia, and EWR. I've never flown out of EWR before, and saw that it had the latest flight leaving NYC at 9:00 P.M EST. This was helpful since I had to leave the office at around 5:30, and needed time to get out of the Financial District in NYC on a Wednesday evening. I booked a nonstop on JetBlue out of Newark, and thankfully the whole airport experience ended up being pretty smooth. The airport itself was much nicer than I expected, especially for such a busy New York area airport. The terminal felt modern, clean, and fairly easy to navigate in the terminal that I was at for the Jetblue flight. There were plenty of food options, seating areas, and charging spots! Flying out of Jetblue from EWR was wonderful. Getting to the terminal and gate wasn't too difficult. The boarding was well organized and there was plenty of open seats on the plane at that flight time. It also arrived a few minutes early into Orlando! Newark Liberty was a good airport experience for a first visit. I only tried [2] different food options though before boarding my flight. It was a quick experience, but I would consider flying out of EWR again for another nonstop flight.

What do they say first impressions matter . Well that is absolutely correct. While walking through the terminal everything was clean and modern . I even asked an employee for directions and they walked me to my destination . I have been to many airports and this was clean modern well organized . I look forward to pass through again .

Not much love going on for PHL :(…read more While getting to and through an airport isn't a particularly fun activity, I feel grateful to have PHL as my Homebase. The airport is clean, with attendants always picking up. Security is quick and they are reasonably friendly for TSA. There's a large selection of spots to eat both in the domestic and international terminal. Ground transportation is easy and there are specific spots for Ubers and taxis, plus a dedicated spot to take the regional rail. Overall, it's a bit outdated, but they are definitely working hard to improve the airport as a whole!

Quite possibly the laziest, rudest, most incompetent workers at ANY airport in America. This review…read moreis not based on one occurrence, it's a culmination of multiple trips to and from PHL over the last decade. I only have to come through this cess pool two times a year thankfully. The baggage workers - you can almost guarantee there will be a 30+ minute wait from when you get to the baggage carousel to when you receive your bag. The food vendor workers - the majority are afflicted with nasty, lazy attitudes. There are no water refill stations anywhere, only a couple (2 per 20+ gates) of water fountains that you can only get your mouth under, and the bottles of water sold at each vendor all average around $5 for a measly 20 oz size. Unbelievable. This should actually be illegal - not providing water refill stations. The general consensus is that people who work here seem to hate their jobs and hate people. They're there for a pay check and will do nothing more than the bare minimum to not get fired. It's quite embarrassing.
