We recently bought a house and underwent having to transform it...replace the flooring throughout,…read moreand needing to repaint it, re-do the bathrooms....teardown the upper cabinets..and asked Louis if they could paint the older looking cabinets instead of our replacing them right now, then if he could paint the chimney...loved that he said yes, for sure and proceeded to give me ideas, when couldnt find the right color I wanted for the fireplace he came through with what he heard me ask and found the color I was looking for....he also told me they will do the doors to match the cabinets throughout as originally thought would have to replace all the doors as well! All I can say is WOW, WOW...They did a magnificent job! LOVE THE TRANSFORMATION! We still got a few more things I want to do but they gave us a perfect backdrop to build on it!!! Its like a whole different house inside.

He is meticulous with any and all details related to the painting. I am a very particular person, and he exceeds all my expectations. He was very helpful and concerned that the paint I selected would be the perfect paint that I wanted. He worked with me to find that. And even when I changed my mind after a whole wall had been done, we switched colors and found the one that I thought was best. Was continually checking in to make sure that I was pleased with everything he was doing. It was expensive, but it was done perfectly. We have LP siding and it has lasted 32 years because we've had it hand-painted each time. Terry says we're good, probably for another 20 to 25 years. And I believe him with the detail that he paid to each part of this job. There are very few services that I have had for our home that I could say this about, but his work was exceptional.

Our home was in need of difficult prep work, experience in correctly working with the potentiality of lead paint, undoing and repairing the previously shoddy workmanship, and taking the necessary time, patience, and care to give our home the love it deserved to look like always wanted it to. Comparing PPR with other painting contractors we worked with is night and day. It was immediately apparent that PPR was better trained and more accustomed to working on older Portland homes than anyone else. The amount of care and craft they put into the prep needed for our house was exactly the attention to detail you'd want to see in a project like this. And the end result has left us so happy. We have delighted in watching both neighbors and strangers walk by and take pictures of our new paint job, and have loved chatting with them about the exceptional work that was done. Recommending Portland Painting & Restoration has been a no-brainer. All have agreed their work looks outstanding. PPR's communication, transparency, deep knowledge, craftsmanship, skill, *pride in their work*--everything top to bottom--has been top notch. These are the professionals you are looking for.
