We had purchased about $4,000 worth of tile(Ashford classic porcelain 10x60" in soft ash am color and bundled 3 per box). Half of the cardboard boxes were destroyed from the weather(tile was fine). Boxes were drenched and fell apart upon lifting. An entire pallet was this way and made it EXTREMELY difficult to offload by hand. Not sure who to blame. Whether it be the store(Floor and Decor out of Lakeland, FL) or Ashford. If we had known the pallet was in this condition, we would not have accepted it(pallet in blue plastic). We would recommend this store for their product knowledge and assistance. But, we would not recommend this store for loading a product of this expense in this condition. See pics for reference.

The tech named Charlie texted me to say that he was 11 minutes away from our home. I said that we would have the garage opened. He was polite in introducing himself and asked on what side of the fan blades to put them facing, a great question. Then as he proceeded to do each fan great. The kitchen light, which went from the original fixture built with the house to modern day, ended up having 2 original holes from the fluorescent casing. Well, I thought, oh, surely , he would fill in those 2 holes, (Not finished, just not left as holes.) "No we don't do that,". So why is Renovations in their company name?! Him seeing that I am handicapped he could have taken an extra 3-5 minutes and caulked it. My husband cannot climb ladders anymore either.So why not be generous enough to do that for me, us now as my husband was at the VA, (which was none of his business.) But renovation being thorough and complete redo, no! I gave him water and snacks upon leaving as I always do for our workers, having being brought up with my dad being in brick and stone and doing major projects for neighbors and family, this was instilled in our family. Then when I went back out to the garage, I had to sweep up debris, inclusive of washers not used etc. Clean up in their description should a thorough clean up. We have brooms in the garage. Why? Who know why! A clean up and disposal of old stuff, for proper disposal, we thought was also going to be the boxes that the fans came in and the kitchen light. Oh no! Well, this AM, in getting my garbage prepared for pick up , I obviously opened up the green Traskh Barrel and low and behold he through in the interior of the boxes plus the globe and bulb of one of the ceiling fans loose in the TrashVarrel. So, O took the reacher and got them out to put in a black trash bag. How sweet?! Not! Then I took the boxes and put them in the Black Tracsh bags, lo and behold the bulbs from the other ceiling were repacked with their casings into a box. Wonderful?! Not! That was not proper disposal! He needs to be called out on his ideas and the protocol for hauling away of proper disposal. No one is supposed ever ypthrough loose garbage into the trash barrels.p, besides being ripped ut is utterly disgusting. I know some families do that but it is not acceptable protocol. I wanted to have tile installed on my front patio. When I started planning the project, I didn't…read morerealize that laying tile was as complex as it was, and how important certain details are if you want the tile to look good. Christopher from Centennial Tile Installations helped educate me about some of these things. He knew where using bullnose tile would look good, and discussed with me what color grout to select. He spent a lot of time preparing the outdoor painted surface so that the tiles would stick properly. He also spent a lot of time measuring and double-checking the measurements. He seemed to really care about having it look good. I'm pleased with the result. I have attached "before" and "after" pictures.

This is our 3rd time hiring Christopher for a project at our house. I wrote a review for his first…read moreproject but did not for the 2nd or most recent, so I'm including both of those here! Most recently, he came to reinstall our new LVP on our 2nd floor. We (mistakenly) hired a different company to install the LVP (I didn't know Christopher did LVP as well!) and that company installed it at an angle. It looked terrible! Christopher came and very carefully uninstalled the LVP and baseboards to save as many boards as possible. He cleaned up the subfloor and added self-leveler, feathering it out to make it correct. He reinstalled it beautifully - and straight! As expected, he was detailed oriented and put in extra time to make sure it was done right. He even straightened up an angled wall which was bowed to ensure the baseboard sat flush. I also included photos from the bathroom he did for us in early 2024. He laid floor tile, wall tile, shower floor tile, added a niche in the shower, installed the tub and tub faucet! It all looks perfect and is still in great shape 2 years later! Not only is Christopher the best at what he does but I also feel comfortable having him in our home, even if we are not there. He's keeps us updated on the project timeline and is always friendly!
