The staff are exceptionally rude. I paid $60 to take my nieces and nephews here over winter break. Then I spent $150 on drinks, food and game cards. They only serve junk food, fountain drinks and Dasani (filtered water). I had a Fiji water bottle on my table (the only water I drink). When the server came to bring our food he started screaming and being extremely hostile and rude. He kept insisting I take my unopened water out to my car. Mind you I am here with five kids under age six. So did he want me to take all five kids out in the cold? Or leave five toddlers unattended? When I asked him, he grunted and then grabbed my water bottle and took off with it creating a scene I was not allowed to have it here. For goodness sakes I spent $150 on food and drinks! I am not allowed to drink water that they don't even sell! It is not like I brought a cooler with drinks and snacks into the facility. The pizza we ordered had black hairs in it. The floors were filthy. The chairs at all the tables were filthy and the staff are standing around joking around with each other and being unattentive to guests. The floor was so disgusting the kids white socks were black on the bottoms when I went to put their shoes back on. I am not sure how the health department has not shut this place down. In the three hours I was there I did not see one staff member cleaning. The staff were also eating while preparing food and no one in the food area was wearing globes. Snacking on popcorn and candy while preparing guest's food is a MAJOR food department violation. Most of the place is an arcade with only three inflatables. The lack of cleanliness during cold and flu season seriously concerns me to ever return, even without the exceptionally rude and aggressive server. The day prior we went to Xtreme Air and despite the slightly higher admission, it was a much better value. They had no issue with the Chick-fil-A we brought in and the focus was more on excercise and play versus video games and arcade so no need to waste $20+ per kid on game cards. The facility was also exceptionally clean and the staff was very attentive and helpful. We also bought lots of snacks at the facility as well, but it was nice they didn't have issue with the diet lemonade that I brought in from Chick-fil-A. We have come here for years and they've gotten more strict with worse attitudes. The employees talk to the customers like we are an inconvenience and it's a shame. The people working here seem like they can't stand children. We recently came and were greeted at the door, asked if it was with a party and was immediately told we couldn't bring a present in if we weren't with a party. Which is fine but I know I've seen people bring gifts in without a party booked before. I brought my precious monkey joes cup and asked for it to be filled and he said they don't do that. I asked the employee when they changed that and he said never. They've never refilled the monkey joes cup. It's just very inconsistent because other times we come they fill the cup no problem. It just seems like they are trying to create hurdles and issues for the patrons. While we were there monkey joes literally came out walked a lap around the store and went back in and changed, no contact with the kids even though they tried to talk to him... it's a shame and a joke! Be consistent, be kind and that's it. I only left two stars because the kids still had fun regardless but it seems like they want to raise prices but lower the standards of care... can't wait for the new places to open locally so we don't have to continue to come here. read more

Monkey Joes ITS TIME FOR A BOYCOTT Yesterday around 4 I took my sister who was visiting from out of state and my nephew who is 6 and my autistic 5 year old who has trouble walking/climbing so obviously the larger equipment he just wasn't able to access. After 30 minutes of bliss watching my son have blast in the soft block pit. Management sends a young lady over who is apologizing profusely and says "my manager says that he isn't allowed in this area of the building." I replied "you see he has mobility issues and is't bothering anyone" even the other parents weren't concerned with Asher. So I said "sweetheart would you go get your manager I'm not upset with you" she came back and said "I'm autistic myself I've got Asperger's. She doesn't care ma'am and said you'll have to come to her." Smiled said thank you rounded up our screaming children and tried to reason with her. She had a grin when I said you understand this is a form of discrimination" and she replied "we have one night out of the week for special kids" again I said he's not bothering anyone I realize, I'm not getting anywhere with this heartless wretched woman and said "what you're doing is cruel and sick". Our kids didn't understand why we had to leave it was soul crushing. I want this to be shared please and raise awareness that our kids wanna play just like any other child as long as no one's safety is compromised (it obviously wasn't) I want to add that my Husband has taken our son a few times WHILE HE HAD HIS LEG BRACE to monkey joes and never had a problem he was never approached and told he must leave that children with disabilities aren't allowed on a normal business day. This manager had a grin as she took sick perverse pleasure in kicking us out. If this isn't a case of discrimination against a disabled child I don't then know what is. They need to be held accountable!!!!! UPDATE I called wanting to know what days of the week our special kids are allowed to have use of the facilities I was told by an employee and asked to double check "Every third Tuesday from 6 to 8, which happens to be tomorrow" that's TWO HOURS ONCE A MONTH during the lowest times to profit. That's like other kids dinner bath and bed time for the week not including Dr appointments and whatever special specific therapy appointments they may have during the work week when these places are open. read more

We decided to visit for the first time on a Sunday afternoon and, though it was very busy, it didn't feel too packed with people, lines to buy food were short, the food was tasty, and the place was clean. The staff were polite, though a few of them wandering the floor couldn't even be bothered to smile at people as they walked past. Our two children were toddlers so they enjoyed the toddler area immensely, but also the jungle gym and the bouncy house were big hits! Parents get in for free, and 2 and under is only $5! The food isn't terribly overpriced, but it is overpriced but they have free drink refills!Excellent way to spend an active (and loud!) couple of hours with the family! read more

Not one to complain or write a bad review, but I feel this is necessary. Took my daughter Kinslee back to our once favorite place today after a year break! If y'all know me, y'all know Kinslee and I came here 3 times a week for almost 2 years straight. Baker is finally at an age where he can have fun and play so we decided to bring him. My sister and nephew joined us too. Long post.. There was only us (my sister and nephew (13 months old), Kinslee (4 y/o), Baker (15 months old), and myself) along with another mom and her son at the time. I'm sitting at a table feeding Baker. Kinslee comes up to me crying and saying a worker told her she couldn't play in an area. I grab Baker and we all go to this area. Not even 10 minutes later, the same worker comes up and says Kinslee cannot be in there. I nicely ask why and explain that we are the only ones in the area and she has no one else to play with. Kinslee is a typical little girl who LOVES playing with little babies.. her brother and nephew. So that's what she was doing. The worker (who I later found out is named Bethany) says because its "3 and under" and she needs to get out of the area. Don't get me wrong, I am all about having age restrictions and following them but we are the only people in here and Kinslee is BORED! Whatever.. so we go about our time in a different area. (Kinslee is very upset). Well Baker and my nephew, being 1, venture back to this forbidden area.. Kinslee starts crying telling me "please mommy don't go in there, I can't come in there".. that made me upset and angry! My daughter is here to have fun and now she is upset and feels left out because she can't even come SIT in this area with us. Yes, cannot put a toe in the area. So I tell Kinslee to come anyways. If they want to say something else, fine. Sure enough, here comes another girl. Makenzie. Before she even says anything, I ask her if she has kids. She says no. I said "I didn't think so, because if you did you would know that a 4 year old is not going to go play by themself while everyone else is in another area. She wants to be in here with her mom and brother". She tells me "well then you can get up and go assist her over there".. I say some other things in hopes that she'll just leave it alone and allow Kinslee to play in this area.. well she doesn't and eventually tells me "well there's the door" while pointing to the front door. At this point I'm pissed. The other two moms are near by with their kids and are agreeing with me and wondering why they're so focused on Kinslee when the whole entire place has 8 customers (4 being the adults). I ask for the owners number.. because I am done dealing with the two teenage girls with snarky attitudes. The owner shows up about 10 minutes later and has a crap attitude too. She told me she's not going to change the rules for me. So I politely tell her unfortunately we won't be back. It is already hard toting a 4 year old and a 1 year old around.. and them not being able to play in the same area is absurd. We came to monkey joes to have fun and play freely but couldn't do that. We end up leaving shortly after. Bethany continues to make snarly comments to me and follows me out the door making comments. On the way home, Kinslee is crying saying she doesn't want to go back to monkey joes and I am fine with that. We won't be back. Thanks Bethany & Makenzie I hope when you have kids you think back to this incident. Edited to say: if it were a busy day and there were multiple little kids in the "3 and under" area, I would totally tell Kinslee she was too big. But being that it was only us and she was simply stacking blocks for her brother and nephew.. I think you should make some exceptions. read more

I heard screaming from the staff room and there was poop on the bathroom walls in the girl's restroom the staff was rude and disrespectful to me and my 14 year old . One of the bouncy house Deflated all of the kids were screaming of fear . Also the food was nasty and looked uncooked and looked like it was left overs from people who didn't finish there pizza . So, we have been coming here for a little over a year now, every 2 weeks. We have NEVER had a problem until today. My daughter is special needs. She is only 4 physically and she is way behind on the growth charts. She is mentally and physically handicapped and has other medical issues such as a shunt and missing ribs. Every other manager has always been accepting of us playing in the toddler area with her. UNTIL today. There is no other safe place for her to play here since she is not like any other child. We were run out of the play area even after multiple explanations and a phone call from my husband. I've called corporate, my husband has called and I've got a few others that will be calling. Its unacceptable that people don't use common sense. I could have understood if my child was running amuck and causing problems but she physically can't do that. We won't be going back. read more

We brought our boys here to play today. They had a great time. They each got a free $5 play card because it is Wednesday. When staff found out we had evacuated the GA coast because of Hurricane Dorian, they went out of their way to make sure the kids had a great time! Great place when it's too hot or cold to be outside with the kids.. My little boy always leaves here exhausted, which is perfect! He just plays so hard. I like how they have high school aged kids monitoring, they make sure all the kids are following to rules very well. That way I don't have to get onto other peoples kids :) Just an FYI - my little boy is two, and we try and go right when they open so there is not a big crowd, because some of the older kids (6-10) will run him over.. Took my twin 4 year old grandsons and one 7 year old granddaughter while they were out on winter break from school. It was really nice, was nicer and bigger than the one in Newnan, GA. We stayed 2.5 hours and they had a very good time! It was clean and the staff were very friendly. I can't believe how after reading other reviews Corp. hasn't cleaned house at this location. I have a 12 year old that looks like and is the size of a 16 year old. She doesn't play. I have 3 younger ones who do. Never had a issue until today at this location. I went to pay for the 3 little ones and was told I would have to pay for the 12 year old and if she didn't touch the arcade or inflatables they would refund me for her. I offered to sit at a table at the front of them and they could see she doesn't play on these children toys, but no. They want to inconvenience me and make me stand in line all over again when time to leave to get money back I should of never had to pay for to begin with. Should of been like all these other parents and lie about her age because Lord knows with my oldest being bigger than I am I would of got away with it! Unfortunately I was raised right and this is one of those cases where doing the right thing doesn't pay off. Told the owner that wasn't right to put a customer thru all this trouble to get back into line and stand there and wait for a refund and I was told if I didn't like it I didn't have to be there. She was rude and arrogant the whole conversation. My son was not interested in the bounce house; plus, it's hard for parents to monitor and manage little ones while they play inside of it. Not as big as some other Monkey Joes I've been to, but the kids don't seem to mind. Great place to burn off some energy, this location seems cleaner and well managed than others. Military discount is a plus! Bring some quarters/cash for the small ride on rides (your kids won't stop begging you). Staff is young but friendly and understanding to parents needs (let our potty training daughter run in to go potty before going through the wristband/payment process). Location has sign that gets warm during summer due to its glass window framing, but it's 104 out today and still able to play. Restrooms clean. My family and I have been customers at Monkey Joe's for over 6 years. My kids have grown up going to birthday parties and playdates there. I have seen many changes in ownership, management, and the appearance of the play area over the years. Bounce houses come and go, get moved around. Tables are added or moved. Items come and go off the menu. When I took my daughter on 29 Dec. 2017 there had been extensive renovations since our last visit. I was disappointed in the changes. Many pay to play arcade games had been added. This was a huge disappointment since the cost to get in the door is already high and the price of games and food is not included. I wrote a review on Google expressing my concerns and disappointment about the changes while watching my child play on the slide. About 20 minutes later, the owner Natasha Lunce called my name out over the loud speaker, informed me that upon reading my review, my money was being returned, and my daughter and I had to leave. She was rude to me in front of other customers and her employees. Instead of addressing the concerns I had, she lost a loyal customer. read more

However, it was pretty warm for us parents just sitting there and what made me give it a 2 star rating is the attitude of the two females working there on afternoon of 6/16/2013. The way they talked to the kids while playing and the way us adults were spoken to and treated, was enough for me to NEVER come back. I will not visit a place where a young adult dislike their job and it reflects in her/their customer service. They must remember that us (the adults) are the ones who bring the kids there.
