She was able to squeeze me in because I was traveling with my pet in a few days so he needed to smell good and have his nails trimmed. Bianca was my dog's groomer she was very friendly. I told her about how he is usually afraid of having his nails cut and just afraid in general. She scooped him up and said she would call me when done. Recently my Maltese had a full groom performed by Monica's Mobile Grooming. I was on standby for my appointment until my groomer became available. Needless to say my groomer was not who showed up. Shortly after she picked my dog up she brought my dog back to me with only her body cut and an uneven chop out of the back of her head. In addition my dog was limping and by day 2 she developed a horrible ear infection in both of her ears from the bath. A useless bath because my dog didn't appear or smell washed. After getting in touch with the company they didn't want to deal with me but told me the groomer will call me. I received a call from the groomer and she was very explicit as to the amount of force she had to use while grooming my dog, even went as far as comparing herself to a bear. I was livid and contacted the company back. After being given several excuses they finally came back with the following text: Good Day Mrs Suboni, After going over your concerns and speaking with all the groomers it seems everyone is in agreement (including yourself) that Miss Lexi Rose really doesn't like the grooming process. It's a very stressful occasion for her that we seem to take more seriously than you. As our groomer tried to explain to you certain precautions she took with your pet to prevent injury your concern was more on the appearance. The groomer performed a full groom to the best of her ability even though Lexi Rose was fearful/uncooperative. The groomer that you had that day was our most trusted and senior groomer and we agree that you would be best serviced elsewhere. We appreciate your past patronage and wish you only the best. Then blow me off, asking me to wait about another week. My poor fur babies need their nails trimmed and have waited too many weeks while self isolating as it is. Raquel is the PERFECT groomer. She is extremely knowledgeable about all kinds of dogs and can handle even tough cases with a gentle touch. None of my dogs are okay with grooming in anyway shape or form, but Raquel handles their fears with ease. She grooms my MinPin/Chi mix who usually needs 2 handlers just to clip his nails. She manages to do it alone. She just groomed my foster dog who has never been handled in this way before and it went perfectly. She did hair, nails, ears and glands and they're all happy campers now as am I! Maybe this groomer is fine for dogs but don't even call about your cat. I called to find out if this groomer handled cat grooming and to get a price and that experience alone was horrible. The phone was answered with a hello and when I asked if it was Monica's Mobile Grooming, I got a very harsh "YES, this is Monica!" I asked about cat grooming and she stated "yes, I have one groomer that does cats and it is $100 for a cat because cats are so dangerous. I myself won't groom cats because they are so mean and it is not worth a thousand dollars for me to spend a week in the hospital because your cat bit me". WOW! I think this woman needs to chill out and treat a customer like a customer and not an annoyance. My suggestion, if you are looking for a groomer, is to skip right over her ad. read more

Monica's Mobile Grooming is by far the best mobile grooming out there! I contacted Monica after my Dad recommended her services to me and she was quick to respond to my inquiry on her website. After some quick emails back and forth she set me up with one of her groomers, Tracey for the following week. Tracey called me when she was 15 minutes away, and arrived on time and was ready to work. She took both of my boys in at the same time, Prince my 3 year old Pomeranian and Odin, my 7 year old Corgi/Shiba Inu mix. She gave both of them the full grooms and Prince had a teddy bear cut on top of that and I gotta say that they both looked AMAZING!!! when she walked them to my door to bring them back. My 20 lb dog has been groomed on a regular basis since he was a puppy (6 Years). He doesn't mind it and sits still for the most part. Other groomers have always commented on how good he is for a groom. After the second (or third?) time he was groomed with Monica's he developed a sudden aversion to being groomed and flinches and cowers when you go near him to do any grooming. I did not witness any mistreatment of my animals, but I'll leave it at that and wouldn't let them touch my dogs again. On a less serious note, they never quite listened to what I what I wanted. Scheduling is easy; the groomers are professional and always punctual; and, most importantly, they know and love animals. I called Monica's grooming looking for a good, reliable and convenient groomer. Monica seemed nice on phone and I made a Sat 9:30am appt. and she said for my two toy poodles ( 4lb and 6lb) would be $65.00 each. The morning of the appt Monica called and asked to change the appt to 1:30pm. I agreed but had to scramble to change my plans. The groomer employee called at 1:00pm saying she would be late one hour....she was 45 minutes late for the app but appreciated the call. I invited her in my home to meet and greet quickly and asked of her experience as she seemed a little young and not really friendly w/my two babies. I carried my two babies to her van and asked to see inside as a little dubious at this point and she reluctant said ok. I peered inside and all looked clean but noticed the two stacked cages w/wet towels inside so asked where the dog not being groomed would wait? She said on floor and would not be a problem...again I reluctantly said ok! Two hours later she knocked on my door w/my babies in arms and said she was finished and they had behaved like perfect angels. She did say she saw a flea on one and so I asked any extra treatment needed and she replied no. As she put the two babies on the floor I looked in horror as this was the worst haircuts I have ever received. The cut was very short and uneven w/razor, also cut the ears, they did not look brushed and did not have a pleasant bath smell. My boy looked like he had a mohawk where clippers cut to close on part of his head, tummies were not trimmed and not all of their toenails trimmed. My two never go longer than 6 weeks for a haircut and wished I had waited longer when I saw the horrible haircuts they were given. For this mess she requested $85.00 each for total of $170.00. I told her that was not the fee agreed by Monica and she replied because they were poodle cut the cost was more. Believe me this was nothing like a poodle cut just a sloppy razor hair cut that looked like an amateur had done. At this point I paid the fee of Monica's employee and thanked her for coming. Despite my husband saying let it go it's not worth it I did text Monica a couple of days later to let her know I was very disappointed in the haircuts and w/the bait and switch fee. She replied that is her fee for poodles and that $20.00 per dog is just to drive to your home. I would rate the haircuts a 0 and now a few weeks have gone by and taking them back to our regular groomer for a total redo. I am writing this as Inferior quality and service were given.
