We've been seeing Dr. Sellnow for both kids for multiple years, as well as utilizing other services within the Monfort/Sunrise system. They have been nothing but wonderful, helpful, understanding, and phenomenal.
Dr. Sellnow especially earns my praise for being humble and willing to admit when she'd like to do more research or consult colleagues, rather than arrogantly insisting she knows everything like many other doctors. (PAs are the best!) She is willing to speak at the education level I'm at rather than speak to me like I'm incapable of understanding medical processes, but quickly turns and explains in easy, non-frightening layman's terms to my daughter as well so she is educated in and comfortable with her own care. She also works hard to find us solutions that work for us, not just the ones she prefers. She is one of the best doctors we've come across in a long time, and I have nothing but positives to say about her.
As for the rest of the staff, the scheduling team is friendly and helpful. The nurses always seem happy and are so fun and kind. I can call with questions and rather than get endless phone numbers, they help connect me or even get answers from the right person so I'm never left in the dark or told it's my job to figure something out or play phone tag.
For low income families or people without insurance, they also provide plenty of support and options and will walk you through it one-on-one with full honesty. They're phenomenal. read more
