I am fortunate to know where this place is. I used to take Goreway Drive from my old workplace to get to highway 407, which would eventually get me home. These days, I don't use this route, but it's not completely out of my way to get there. There was parking at the back of the store. I walked in and asked if I could buy some Chinese currency. The man was polite and asked whether I had called ahead. I didn't. Apparently, it helps them prepare. He, along with another colleague, went into the vault. He managed to get me $80 CAD worth of $359 CNY. I was pleased, although I ended up with a ton of single CNY bills! I wasn't complaining. The man was nice to provide me with a white envelope. I was pleased with the exchange rate and was thankful that I had some Chinese currency. I recommend coming here. (124)

But five stars because the staff appears to be very friendly and team-spirited based on the previous Yelper's review and the meeting that I saw they were having as I was doing my cheque depositing. They were all sitting in a circle SINGING THE LEGO MOVIE SONG. How adorable!! :D everything is awesome!! Everything is cool when you're part of a team! I hate and love this song LOL. The energy was quite infectious! I should come to this TD more often.

In terms of safety, they are behind glass but not a single person behind the counter had masks. So that was a concern for me. I am hoping that changes. Would I go here again? I would if the safety protocols were in place. They definitely can offer you what you need. I would like to acknowledge the amazing customer service I have received from Dylan at the BMO…read moreHillcrest branch. Dylan sits at a desk helping customers in person or on the phone and if there is a line-up to see a teller and you're lucky you will be invited to sit down at his desk and he will assist you. Banks have a reputation of putting their interests first but Dylan puts the customer first. I needed to make a cash withdrawal and through this Dylan noticed we had a significant amount in our savings account at a low interest rate. He let me know that there was a promotion where we could earn 5% and set me up and explained that it was time limited but to see him when it expired. From then on I have referred to him as my "Personal Banker" and he has helped us out many other times. Dylan's strong customer service orientation builds loyalty and we would highly recommend the Hillcrest BMO branch.
