I should mention that I have been using Money Tree Finance for over 20 years, and have never defaulted or been late on any loan I have had with them in the past couple of decades - indeed, almost every single loan I have ever taken out with them has been paid off early!!! There were three employees present as I walked in - after a couple of minutes of being ignored, I finally approached the closest person and informed her I was a previous customer and had just paid off a $900 or so loan less than two months before. The Money Tree Finance agent left her desk and returned with my thick file of personal and financial history of my loans and pay-offs with this particular loan agency. This newly hired agent (although she had a desk name-plate stating she was an "Assistant Manager" was clearly a new employee and did not know how to proceed. Although I provided ID (valid Utah State DL) and a newly mailed voter registration letter, I was told that none of these were acceptable and that I had to return with even more documentation to prove that I am who I say I am. (I've been doing business that that same location for over 20 years, and have owned a home here in the Salt Lake vally since 1999!) I was treated with rudeness, disdain and contempt - when I asked for the manager's assistance because of the incompetence of the newly hired worker whom I had been unfortunate enough to be working with first, I was then treated rudely and with more disdain by the manager who did not take the time to listen to any of my questions or concerns. NEVER GO TO MONEY TREE FINANCE - THEY ARE COMPLETE SHIT-FACED ASSHOLES WHO DO NOT WANT YOUR BUSINESS UNLESS YOU KISS THEIR FAT ASSES!!! I am posting negative comments everywhere I can find and I will make sure that everyone I know also knows NEVER to go to MONEY TREE FINANCE in MIDVALE for any reason whatsoever!!! Richard Egan

Every single time…read moreyou go in there after you have already confirmed your employment, how much you make, and where you live, they consistently want you to bring in proof for it and after you bring in proof for it every single time, then they want to call up your employer and call up your land lord to prove that everything is correct which I can understand if it is when you are first getting alone, but you want to do it every single month is flat-out harassment! Then after you do all of that every single month which I have now done it 4 times, I went to grab another piece of my mail to prove my address and they completely cancelled out my loan so now they are saying I cannot get another loan for 60 days! I have never ever once been late on a payment, and I always pay it off early! They don't even give you a tiny bit of appreciation for paying on time and paying off early! They are treating me like I am a criminal when I have done nothing wrong to deserve this type of harassment, and now I can't get a loan for another 60 days so I am never ever going to get another loan with them again, so thank you Money Tree Finance, you have just lost a very good customer that was actually bringing you and money and doing higher than the expectations that you set out for your other customers.
