Churrería El Moro is always a good idea. We stopped by around 2pm on Christmas Eve and, no…read moresurprise, the place was still packed--but absolutely worth it.
We went classic with an order of four churros and the trio of dips: chocolate, guava, and cajeta. Perfect move. Each person in our family had a different favorite dip, which meant the churros disappeared very quickly. Crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, and best enjoyed dunked generously.
Despite the crowds, service was prompt, friendly, and efficient, which made the experience even better.
Simple, iconic, and delicious--El Moro is a must-try (and re-try) when you're in Mexico City.
