Goodness gracious, I know you hear a lot of folks say things like, "If you do ANYTHING, do the Manta Rays, dolphins, etc," and I fully support the sentiment. However, if there's an ounce of Kona coffee aficionado in you, then this is my "If you do ANYTHING" addition. Sal, Abby, and Joshua were incredible hosts. We should have done both the tour and the roasting demonstration but had our two kids with us and it wasn't advised for us to do that portion. However, we would have force our kids to deal with it had we known about Abby beforehand! Sal and Abby are super knowledgeable and clearly see this and treat this as their craft. Their son Joshua was an excellent host on the retail/testing side. What a team! If we ever visit the Big Island again, we will do so sometime between mid-August and January so we can see the harvest operations. Thank you for an incredible tour!

Great local farm, intimate tour and experience! I learned a lot about coffee. Our guide Chris was awesome! 5 stars

Having never been on a coffee tour we thought it would be a good idea to try one out here in Kona. I booked this last minute but was able to get the time slot I wanted which was convenient. I recommend going as early as possible to take in those gorgeous views from the property while also tasting some great coffee. No better way to start your morning in paradise. Chris took us around the property, teaching us the history of the company, the crop planted there, and the difficult process of harvesting and getting the coffee ready for roast. At the end we were given a blind coffee tasting via pour over. Chris was helpful and answered all of our questions! If you're looking for a coffee tour, love coffee, or just don't know what to do in between hikes or beach visits, definitely consider a visit!

We came for the walking tour and it was amazing. The farm is beautiful with incredible views, we had a private tour with Joshua who was incredibly knowledgeable and showed us all aspects of the farm. We finished with enjoying a great pour over and relaxing on the patio enjoying some fruits we picked from the trees! Highly recommend this for an activity on big island!!

As coffee lovers, Heavenly Hawaiian constantly came up in my research and I'm glad we toured for ourselves. The grounds itself are absolutely gorgeous and that view from the hill onto the ocean is unreal! I can't for the life of me remember our tour guides name but she was such a joy and extremely knowledgeable. Learning about the different coffee variants that are grown such as Kona typica, Progeny 502, and the "boujee girl" Geisha was awesome to learn about and see for ourselves. Did I mention endless coffee sampling? Such a relaxing atmosphere to sip all the coffee you want and enjoy that view. And the cutest cats on the property were such a delight mingling with the guests. All staff members were so helpful and they even treated us with a goodie bag of freshly picked fruits from the farm and a bag of peaberry bites (my new favorite) all as a thank you for paying a visit on our honeymoon! Was not expecting that all but such a sweet gesture! I would highly recommend Heavenly Hawaiian farms to anyone if you're on the Big Island or in the Kona area. Absolutely worth the trip up the hill and to feel the aloha from the staff and grounds.

The land itself is absolutely beautiful, with stunning views that make you want to linger a little longer and soak it all in. You can tell how much care and pride goes into everything they do here. We learned so much about what makes these coffee beans so special, from how they are grown and harvested to how they are processed and roasted. It gave me a whole new appreciation for every sip. And Ben, our tour guide, was incredible. So charming, so knowledgeable, and genuinely passionate about what he does. He made the experience engaging and memorable from start to finish. Highly recommend this tour if you are anywhere near Kona. It is an experience you will not forget.

They have samples of everything out in their gift shop, and they're doing some pretty fun stuff - we absolutely bought a couple bars (as usual, I liked the darkest and my wife liked the lightest chocolate the most, but they were all quite good.) I'd give the *tour*, which they only do a couple times a week, so we had to adjust our schedule a bit to make it to one, a 4/5. It was interesting, but you don't actually get to see any chocolate being made, a lot of it was just discussion (albeit: discussion while standing in a production cacao orchard - I'd never actually *seen cacao trees in person, they are pretty cool! Cool, but also full of spider webs.) They also cut open a fresh, ripe, not-processed-yet cacao bean at the end of the tour, and we got to try a little bit (it's delicious - sweet and fruity, nothing like chocolate. I wish we'd gotten to eat a bit more of it, honestly.) It was an interesting tour, not sure it was worth the extra planning it took to be there for it though - other than the fresh cacao fruit, you don't get anything you can't also try in the gift shop any time of day.

You don't just look at tanks -- you learn everything. There are 54 species of seahorses and every single one is endangered. They explain how seahorses truly struggle in the wild and how this farm has learned to sustainably raise them so people stop taking them from the ocean. They are literally changing the trajectory of these incredible, majestic creatures. You get to see the full life cycle -- the parents, the babies, different stages of growth -- all in real life, up close. And yes... you get to hold a seahorse. They wrap their tiny tails around your finger and it is unreal. They feel like nothing you've ever experienced before. It's gentle, surreal, and completely magical. We brought our 5-, 7-, and 9-year-old, and the staff was beyond kind. They took real time to explain everything to our kids, answered every question, and made them feel included and important. We cannot stop talking about it. It genuinely blew us out of the water. If you are on the island, this is a MUST. Not optional. One of the greatest experiences we've ever had.
