Good service. Good installation. LIMITED AVAILABILITY. POOR SEPARATION EXPERIENCE.
If you purchase a new home and move out of their available service area, you are contractually bound to a penalty within a prescribed period. I should have read the fine print as I was not instructed otherwise at the time of installation. They have waived $100 of over $250 in fees, but their service limitations should not be borne on the backs of faithful, timely customers who move outside of "uptown" Denison. Had I continued to reside in their small-town catchment, I would certainly have kept their services as we had reliable, fast service. The example Monarc should follow: even AT&T fully waived contract termination fees due to a move with no available service in our destination. Not the farewell to Denison I had envisioned.
Good faith treatment is reciprocal between customer and service provider. I was faithful in payments and a problem-free customer. The move was a surprise to us, and we were disappointed to learn of Monarc's very limited capabilities. Though the $100 credit lessens the sting, it does not speak favorably for a company so limited in both scope and breadth. Read and question the fine print thoroughly. read more
